Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Wednesday that President Barack Obama must visit the Texas southern border to see the immigration crisis for himself.
“If he doesn’t come to the border, I think it’s a real reflection of his lack of concern of what’s really going on there,” Perry said on FOX News’ “FOX and Friends,” noting that Obama is planning to be in Texas next week for fundraisers.
“If the President of the United States is really serious about securing that border, we can show him how to do that,” Perry added. “But I haven’t even had a phone call from this president.”

I e-mailed my GOP congressman last week—”Do something!”—the same day Obama was making noises about issuing an EO to ram amnesty down our throats. And then the waves of central American kids. Obama and Johnson are now saying they will be deported—as they scramble to get them all settled.

and yes we have ignored the problem for too long but that doesn’t mean we should continue to.
You may not know but there was a group of patriots who went to a part of the border where people just walked across and stood to prevent them.
Haven’t seen that covered.
There is only so much a state can do. We,Texas have done as much as we can.
We can have the national Guard use force. we can’t bodily prevent people from coning.
We don’t have the money to deal with what is going on and can’t even get that POS 0dumbo to help.
Plus we have many in Texas who support him.
Many of us will still continue to fight this even as we are called racist and haters.
This is NOT just a Texas problem.

Yeah, in my book Perry is a weenie! If he wasn’t all horn and no driveshaft, he’d have already put the Texas National Guard on the Texas portion of the border with Mexico and gotten busy arresting any Feds who objected.

There are things he can do if he chooses. All these wuzzy governors. I’m so sick of defeat by acquiescence. America needs heroes, we need people who will fight.
Call out the national guard, use militia, spend every last dime in your budget then sue the Feds. That’s what Obama would do, whatever it takes. If it doesn’t quite fit with the rules, do it anyway and by the time they sort it out in court, it will be a non-issue.
Just do something you spineless bunch of “leaders”. Same with Congress, stop the invasion then worry about the consequences. Let the media play up political consequences all they want, you’ll be helping the people. Remember them?

But maybe he planned to make an unannounced secret, surprise visit to the border all along, like those surprise visits he has made overseas to visit our troops.

Jarhead to Perry,STFU and do something you political hack opportunist. While your states burn with illegals all you can seem to do is open your sewer trap without action. Save your breath for action. Then and only then will you be seen as relevant.
And if Obama didn't try to do something immediately to stop the invasion, he would be immediately impeached.
