Liberals are opposed to individual liberty as defined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The only real issue they have with chattel slavery in America two hundred years ago is that the slaves were privately owned.

They are all orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.

Democrats never pass up on opportunity to tell us why enslavement by the state is for our own protection and our own safety, because life under the anarchy that conservatives want to impose is just too risky and dangerous. We can't have any of that inhumane"on-your-own economics" that conservatives advocate.

Thereby proving that you no longer have to be black to be an Uncle Tom.

What is part of Freedom is Responsibility. We are free/ at choice as to what we pursue, it is our responsibility to make wise choices for our own benefit that does not diminish or harm others overtly.

America is great and I do not want to live outside the borders of America. Freedom of speech, thought, direction, being responsible for our self and our livelihood. Learning how to do work to support our self and our children. Not impossible. Millions are doing so.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! THANK GOD FOR ALL THE OPPORTUNITIES WE HAVE AROUND US AVAILABLE TO OUR PURPOSE FOR LIVING A GOOD LIFE!

Most Americans are too dumb or lack the seriousness to even define freedom. If asked they would define freedom as the ability to engage in reckless sex, drug use, homosexuality and owning the latest electronic gadget.

I have zero doubt 30% of Americans would sign away their birthrights for a $25 Starbucks gift card. If you bumped it up to $50, you'd probably get another 20%.

We no longer teach the value of real freedom and liberty in our schools and it shows everywhere, including our culture. Big government statists running our school systems, it all becomes about self-preservation for them despite it going against our Constitutional freedoms and liberties. President Reagan warned us about this, too bad and sad so many did not listen.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

The federal education system, to preserve the power of the federal government, is teaching our young’uns that security is more important than freedom and that government can provide that “security”.
