That is again leading to speculation that Sen. Paul will endorse Sen. Alexanders re-election bid, something he came short of doing in a previous joint media appearance to demonstrate their solidarity with fishermen facing Corp of Engineer restrictions that would keep them from fishing near dams. Given the pair's voting records, which show wide policy fissures, if Sen. Paul does endorse Alexander, it will invite reasonable suspicion that he cares more about Lamars ability to help him in his expected 2016 presidential run than he does about the biggest issues facing the country.
I have culled, from the Heritage Action Scorecard, a sample list of major differences between Senators Paul and Alexander last year, when Paul earned a score of 96% from Heritage Action, and Lamar received a score of 49%.
Vote after vote, on comprehensive immigration reform, taxing Internet sales, the Farm (mostly Food Stamp) bill, the deal to reopen the government, and rules weakening the minority in the Senate, Sen. Alexander voted the opposite of Sen. Paul.

Two losers
Second quarter for fundraising closes today. Joe Carr needs to show a good bump in his ability to rally the grass roots.
Lamar! is dug in deep. It will take a great effort to unseat him. Here's a positive way to punish the GOP for Mississippi.
“Rand Paul to appear in Nashville with Lamar”
Birds of a feather.........don’t trust weasels.
Rand Paul has thrown away his future.
He is now just another establishment RINO.
It’s amazing. Paul has to hold some sort of record on going from claiming to be conservative to actually being a RINO. The promises of a GOP-E future and their power hold on the party must have caused his to put that before what he once seemed to believe in. He’s had lots of chances to stand tall with conservatives and took the RINO way out instead. Major Disappointment.
Rand Paul is a Libtardian, NOT a conservative!
This photo shows the Paul effort is not really new. Senators protect each other's flanks and protect common interests. The photo above depicts just such action. Incumbents have political debts to pay that must be honored.
That is a huge benefit to incumbents simply not available to the challengers.
It may not be right or fair, but it is
Paul is a RINO as far as I’m concerned just like lamar. If Carr hasn’t got the balls to go after the position full tilt, then he needs to get out. I’m tired of backing losers who sound good, no carry through. That means he has to come out of his comfort zone in Middle & East TN and get his butt into West TN ASAP. No signs out. In Atoka area, or Millington. There should be.
——No signs out. ——
There you have it. You assume there are signs elsewhere. There are none in my upper east Tennessee area either.
The reason I assume is lack of money.
(there are not very many Lamar signs either)
Your daily dose of Paul
Have you been in touch with either the Carr campaign or the Beat Lamar pac?
I guess there are times when the apple does drop far from the tree, Rand is no Ron, that’s for sure, Dr. Paul may have been nutty at times, but he was consistent and never up for sale, he must look at Rand and wonder who his father is.
