The Democrats' best shot in Mississippi
Politico ^ | June 26, 2014 | ANNA PALMER

Democrats were crossing their fingers that Chris McDaniel would be the Republican nominee in Mississippi.

But since Sen. Thad Cochran has prevailed, they are trying to do the unthinkable — unseat a six-term GOP senator.

McDaniel supporters are irate that Cochran won a GOP primary by reaching across the aisle. Now some of his backers are ambivalent about whether they’ll come out at all in November — and if they don’t, that could create a rare opening for a Democrat here.

I don’t know why I voted for Mitt. But it seemed like the best option at the time. I am glad I don’t have to make a similar choice over voting Republican in Mississippi as I don’t live there any more.

We will get him to vote the right way some of the time, compared to none of the time. By no means is this some wonderful deal...

I dont live in KC anymore.

And your comparison is not correct. Getting him to vote the right way some of the time vs. none of the time is the reality that I am looking at. However, if I live in MS, I would consider may sitting this one out after all the BS that went on down there.

Geez, not this pragmatic crap again.

F the GOP. That’s what they do to us.

You seriously believe with a-holes like Cochran, Lamar, Corker, McConnell, McCain, Graham, Maine bimbo, Alaska bimbo, etc. in charge of the Senate in 2015 we are going to get anything other than leftwing crap shoved down our throat like amnesty?
