On Tuesday, Univision’s Jorge Ramos did something his colleagues at the Big Three network have been reluctant to do. He pinned the blame for the ongoing border crisis squarely on Barack Obama’s immigration policies.
Writing in the June 24 edition of Miami’s El Nuevo Herald (translation courtesy of MRC Latino’s Ken Oliver-Mendez) Ramos blasted the President: (video after the jump)
“This crisis of children is an unfortunate consequence of the immigration policies of President Obama. First, in concentrating his deportations on ‘criminals’ it became clear he wasn’t going to deport adolescent children. Second, upon offering the ‘deferred action’ protection (DACA) to more than half a million Dreamers - or undocumented students - there’s the hope that he will keep treating recently arrived minors with the same generosity. And third, the reality is that the majority of the 24,000 children detained last year have not been deported, and neither, surely, will the 90,000 of 2014.”

The approval rate for those applying for DACA status is 99.5%. 550,000 have been approved so far. They receive work permits, SSNs, and can travel freely to and from the US. You can be up to the age of 30 to apply. And you don’t have to be brought here by your parents. You just have to be here prior to age 16.

I used to think when the evidence of how incompetent this dolt actually is surfaced, like yesterday with the huge decline in the GDP, the press would begin to say, hey, we got to save ourselves. I was wrong. These guys not only plan to cover up for the sinking ship, they plan on riding it all the way down to the bottom perhaps by figuratively tapping out code on the hull of the sunk ship for their final broadcasts!
The networks believe Obama is blameless in everything. They are blind worshipers at the altar of Obama. There are sinister forces everywhere causing these problems. Poor king Obama is just a victim to all these sinister forces like Republicans and the sequester.
Maybe they know about Obama’s up and coming Reunite Illegal Families Speech Tour and saving all their brain cells for that
Networks? Co-conspirators.
They have no other choice. They know time is on their side as the rapidly changing demography will make them the permanent majority party.
So Called “Journalists,” while enjoying First Amendment protection, designed to create a Free Press Watchdog, have failed in their obligation to be objective.
Our side needs to relentlessly advance the criticism of “Journalists.”
The spotlight needs to be intensified on their hypocritical nature.
When the SHTF, the news liars need to be near the top of the list to pay dearly at the hands of the masses, for what they have done.
The media is the DNC. They are both major shareholder and wholly-owned subsidiary. They are not biased toward the DNC, they are the DNC. Expecting them to be anything else is delusional.
The only time you get daylight in their reporting is when there is a squabble between competing factions within the DNC. And when something happens and they haven’t yet figured out the political implications of it, for that moment you’ll get real reporting. As soon as they have figured out the political ramifications of an event, and as soon as they have closed ranks among themselves, they go back to manufacturing news.
Meanwhile on twitter, Pelosi, Reid, the white house, senate and house democrats are screeching for the GOP to stop wasting time with conspiracy theories and pass immigration reform.
When the shtf, the news types will be some of the first to feel the pain. Only a handful of media types make any kind of money. Prepping is the last thing on their pea sized minds. Their friends are all the same. Media types are in that job because they don’t any other skills. Add to that, they are semi famous, so they won’t be able to blend into the crowd. Other than Obama’s free stuff army, these idiots are the least prepared in our country.
Sucks to be them.

I remember hearing Rush say during the 2008 election - that we should start picketing the major news stations. I don’t understand why Americans have stood by and let this happen without holding their feet to the fire.
