Palin: ‘If Republicans Are Gonna Act Like Democrats, Then What’s the Use?’
Mediaite ^ | June 24, 2014 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 06/24/2014 8:09:57 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Sarah Palin joined Sean Hannity to weigh in on the latest election news, and Palin told Hannity that it would be hard for her to stay with the Republicans and get excited about them if they continue acting like Democrats and rolling over.

She took a shot at the “status quo” politics of people like Senator Thad Cochran and said the Eric Cantor upset shows people want strong constitutionalists in power who don’t represent “the man [or] the establishment” in Washington.

Hannity asked Palin if she would actually follow through on her previous hints she’d go third party. Palin replied, “If Republicans are gonna act like Democrats, then what’s the use?” She said the GOP needs to thrive and stand strong against the president’s policies, otherwise “it does no good to get all enthused about them anymore.”

As long as the voting public allow themselves to be swayed by ads that appeal to the lowest common denominator,

The LCD in this case is estimated to be 35,000 black democrats. Without them, Chris would stomped Thad. The Cochran/Barbour bunch stooped lower than anything I have ever seen by our party. Thad slapped us conservative Mississippians in the face so hard I cannot see us ever recovering. He made every racist accusation in the Dem book against us. Sat., Sun. and Mon. he spent a ton of money printing flyers, getting newspaper articles, paying for robo-calls and volunteer live calls to smear and slander the Tea Party.

FUTC! FUHB!

I'm so damned mad I cannot think straight this day!

Sarah, tonight was the rubicon. GOP resorted to Democrats to beat a conservative.

Damn straight Norm. I have had to hold off posting today for fear of typing something that will get me banned. The only thing lower that the Cochran/Barbour machine could have done would be to hire an assassin for Chris. I am furious with the GOPe. They are DISGUSTING!

I don't take lightly to being accused of all the BS that Thad accused me of and I am sure that every other Tea Party Patriot in Mississippi feels the same way!

I’m waiting for the GOP-E to begin formally caucusing with the Democrat/Communist party.

There was thread Tuesday that mentioned Cochran’s daughter-in-law (or some relative) is in charge of voter registration in Hines County.

Coincidence? I think not!

People continuing to support the GOP are as evil as the GOP. There is no other reality. Last night was the culmination of a long series of slaps to the face. People remaining on the GP plantation WANT to be there.

And those people are not our friends. I have fought for Palin since day 1. My record here proves that. I believe in her vision for America. But she has to end her association with the GOP. There is no acceptable excuse after the GOP brought in democrats with the express of benching a conservative. None.

I find myself truly hoping the GOPe does NOT get the Senate in 2014. Between Boehner and McConnell they are totally useless.

She’s right.

Why keep doing this?

“Yes it can be done. ..”

It HAS BEEN DONE, but the 3rd parties are weak now.

When was the last time a third party elected a president, or any politician in Congress?

I’d love for my favorite party - The Constitution Party - to be strong. But it’s not. None of the 3rd parties can get anybody to any D.C. office. Wish they could.

Third parties have their place, but they can’t suddenly take over the GOP for every job in Washington, D.C.. They need to win a huge number of elections first.

How many jobs are there in D.C. from 3rd party elections?

I used to be a committee woman for a 3rd party, so I’m not against them per se!

Also, I supported Doug Hoffman, when he ran on the NY Conservative Party line, when liberal Republican Establishment supported liberal Dede Scozzafava instead of Hoffman. Hoffman didn’t win, but it was close, even in a three-way race, and a great effort.

btw, Palin was the first to endorse Hoffman, as far as well-known public polical people go, and Santorum was the 2nd. I love them for that.

But that doesn’t mean we can replace the GOP overnight, or even in a year, or two.

Instead of anger, or getting even, we need to have a STRONG 3rd party, which can win elections FIRST.

Sure there needs to be a strong party...eventually. One goes to war with the army they have or one surrenders to the enemy. There is no more time to play games with politics as usual. It is time for the politics of hardball that the dems and now GOP openly play against us.

Third Party? You mean we actually have two parties?

What’s all this talk about a 3rd Party. There needs to be a 2nd Party first.

EXACTLY!

There are plenty of ways to play hard ball w/o replacing the entire Republican Party with a third party.

Again, a third party MUST win MANY elections FIRST. I hope they do. In the meantime, they need baby steps, starting with winning a few elections.

“prayer changes things.

i am praying every day for the right outcome this Fall and already praying now for 2016 and I am putting my faith in action behind my prayer by talking to friends and family in other states and making sure they VOTE according to Christian values!”

THANK YOU for praying and getting others to do the same!

Our Founding Fathers prayed before writing the Constitution, and look how that turned out!

Millions in our country prayed before going to war with Great Britain, and look how that turned out!

At least the Republican Party has some good people.

Listen to the 2nd hour of MarkLevinshow.com

Maybe you’ll understand better from Reagan’s words.

When was the last time a third party elected a president, or any politician in Congress?

Two are sitting in the senate. One has been reelected for years and leans Communist. Another one is a last election independent leaning DEM. The third party movement will take off when enough people get sick and tired of the corrupt lobbyist oligarchy and form a party aligned with the Constitution. Until they do no party "OWNS" my vote nor support.

I vote Independent. If a DEM is running conservative of the RINO as in the case of Clayton against Bob Corker I have no problem whatsoever voting for the conservative DEM. Clayton about caused the Tennessee Democratic Party to have a meltdown LOL. They loved Corker so much none of the oligarchy members ran against him. Clayton entered the race on the DEM ticket and he was far right of Corker on most issues. I voted for him.

Read post 117 & 118. The Conservatives have been had. The GOP-E took over right after the 1994 elections and told the Conservatives to shut up, show up at election time and vote GOP, then go back to keeping silent. Don't show up complaining at election time or Convention time expecting to be heard.

The Conservative GOP which won both houses under the Contract With America Platform was removed from power by the Liberals of which some today still hold office including current Speaker Of The House. I refuse to reward them. I hope Boehner looses by a landslide in the general.

I don't care at this point if the GOP rots on the vine. Paid Lobbyist working for huge anonymous {likely even off shore}donors with a destructive agenda for this nation control the Democrats and GOP. Is there a conspiracy to destroy this nation going on? You Betcha. By controlling the agenda and the elections by buying the coverage they control the election process and thus the nation by proxy. They don't care what party is in office because they own both parties.

How many true honest to goodness fie hard I care about the USA Republicans do you see even on FOX NEWS? The Conservative voice is Rove and McCain with Graham being the compassionate conservative. I'll say this though.

IF a group of grassroots conservatives started up a TV News network the FCC with the GOP's blessing would shut it down or sponsors put on black list. One man about 20 years ago tried to get such a network up and running. Actually he did. It became a threat to establishment GOP which had just taken over the houses and next thing you knew it had a new CEO, new faces meaning Liberal co-host like Ellen Ratner, Beckel, and new name. The network then went off the air soon after.

I have spent a good portion of my life reading Reagan’s words. Pretty sure I got a solid understanding of them.

Especially about liberals, bold colors, traitors, parties standing for things and going ones own way.
