Third parties have their place, but they can’t suddenly take over the GOP for every job in Washington, D.C.. They need to win a huge number of elections first.

How many jobs are there in D.C. from 3rd party elections?

I used to be a committee woman for a 3rd party, so I’m not against them per se!

Also, I supported Doug Hoffman, when he ran on the NY Conservative Party line, when liberal Republican Establishment supported liberal Dede Scozzafava instead of Hoffman. Hoffman didn’t win, but it was close, even in a three-way race, and a great effort.

btw, Palin was the first to endorse Hoffman, as far as well-known public polical people go, and Santorum was the 2nd. I love them for that.

But that doesn’t mean we can replace the GOP overnight, or even in a year, or two.

Instead of anger, or getting even, we need to have a STRONG 3rd party, which can win elections FIRST.

Sure there needs to be a strong party...eventually. One goes to war with the army they have or one surrenders to the enemy. There is no more time to play games with politics as usual. It is time for the politics of hardball that the dems and now GOP openly play against us.
