Hillary Clinton's minions are hard at work assembling a political machine and fine tuning it for another go at the White House. Mrs. Clinton is doing her part preparing for a run as well, churning out a bland memoir about the "hard choices" she faced as secretary of state and coyly positioning herself (again) as the inevitable nominee of the party. But after the troubled beginning to her book tour, we're beginning to see the reasons why Hillary may eventually decide to pull the plug on a 2016 presidential run.

What will happen is that Hillary will run. Regardless of how ill/old/tired she is she will have access to the best medical care/drugs, etc. and will be propped up physically or medicinally whenever necessary.
When she does run, the MSM will circle the wagons and stop putting her on the spot or asking her any tough questions.
She will have a thicker Teflon coating than Obama.
Also, the Republicans will most likely put Bush in there and he will lose.
Hillary may die in office, but we'll never hear about it. Her taxidermied corpse will be trotted out whenever necessary to quell any nasty rumors.

I recall seeing another FReeper posit that she feels “she’s entitled”, that she’s “earned” it or that it’s her “birthright” so to speak...
And the “she can’t win” mantra is something we need to guard ourselves from.
I remember something similar being said here on FR about a certain a$$clown back in ‘08 and in ‘12...look where we are now.
2) She is so "politically flat-footed and tone-deaf" that she doesn't know she's a bad campaigner.
3) She cares more about power than money or leisure or spending time with her grandchild or anything else.
4) She knows that whatever the Clinton Global Foundation is doing will never be "meaningful" enough for her
5) She is appalled by the thought of spending whatever time she has left with Bill Clinton or in his shadow.
She’s going to run but she will also have a very supportive press that hides all her errors.
Do people REALIZE just how much Obama has gotten away with, simply by being BLACK..?
There is NO WAY the Dems aren’t running with a woman or some type of “first/historical”, and that means a woman, a trainee, or a handicapped person.
The benefits are just too great —their side can simply respond with “you are a hater” to any attack that is made.
Everywhere we look around we see sex, beauty, well dressed smiling people on television, internet in magazines. We can't think of her as anything but ugly and a vote for whomever will be a vote against ugliness.
If this is her coronation, then her is Queen Ugly

She will run and have a slobbering, adoring press at her feet.
I would bet a LOT of money AND give odds that she will run.
6. She can’t even run a book tour without making gaff after gaff.

She is a text book narcissist with illusions of grandeur.

Provided she wins the Democrat primary (Who is there on their side to run against her?) she’s going to be the next president of the United States and there’s nothing we can do about it.
She may well be knocked off in the primaries just like 2008. I think she’s more vulnerable to that now than 8 yrs ago.
But if she’s the nominee, I think she wins. She’ll have a VP that appeals to minorities and do better than Obama 2012.
The “blue wall” is at 242 evs.
All she needs past that is Ohio or Florida and the Dems have proved very adept at voter fraud both places.

I think her primary risk is having the Chicago mob endorse somebody like Lizzie Warren or the Castro guy from Texas.
The hard core leftists in the D party will turn out for somebody like that far more than a recycled Clinton.
If a dubious background guy from Kenya named Baraq Hussein can take her down, it isn’t that difficult.
Please. In 1980 when Americans wanted to be put back to work and sanity still counted for something, you would have been right. But now, we have an electorate that voted for Obama. Twice. What makes you think they wouldn’t elect her, especially if the Dems can keep buying voted with tax payer funded freebies?

Haven’t you read the news: the book tour is a bust, they’ve sold barely a third of what they expected to sell last week, and demand is dropping.
The book is ALREADY discounted 40%. . . .
I was thinking how Barry has hogged the limelight for so long that the Dims dont have a “new fresh face,” unless you count Barry. He’s so impressed with himself.
