Well Hollywood glorifies guns and shooting and the MSM oversensationalizes it constantly 24/7. The current administration has created a divisive and unpleasant social environment to live in plus killing the economy, putting people out of work, while constantly applying the thumbscrews. What the hell do they expect?!!

Obama blathers on about gun violence,spoon feeding the sheeple. Of course, the MSM refuses to fact check his statements, but we conservatives do. The homicide rate per capita in the US is around 5 per 100,000, about the same as Latvia, Ukraine, and Cuba. The nations with the highest per capita rate are predominantly Latin American. The rate in Honduras is around 90 per 100,000. If that rate was the same in the US, there would have been 250,000 murders in America, instead of 14,000. If the homicides committed by illegals and urban gangs were omitted, our per capita rate would probably be comparable to those of Western European nations. Meanwhile, liberals aid and abet the flood of illegal immigration and promote amnesty for those who import a murderous culture to America.

There is violence because people do violent things. People whose “value system” permits them to do violent things. The problem is their “value system”! Not the instruments they use to commit violence!

Liberals like to blame guns instead of acknowledging the real causes of violence. Blaming guns makes them feel good, while seeking root causes forces them to admit the failings of their policies. Welfare, fatherless children, societal breakdown down, black culture, the unsupervised mentally ill, drugs and gangs are all topics liberals avoid discussing in honest terms.
This person has obviously never seen the charts.
So why are they so anxious to implement a solution that doesn't actually solve the problem? Is it because they're stupid and don't bother to think it through, or are they evil and want it for some nefarious purpose? Stupid or just plain evil ... that is the question.
If it were ever to happen that Obama is right about anything, it would be news indeed.

Next time a liberal wants to talk about a gun killing people take a loaded gun out and put it on the table and tell the gun shoot and see how many times it will.
You can then explain to the moron hummmmmmmm does not seem to work that way. The only way it works is for someone to pick it up and pull the trigger. Maybe he will then understand, doubtful though it might be, that the gun is not the problem, it is the person.

The stats I’ve read show violent crime is way down from say 20 years ago. We have to call out these media hacks because their basic premise that violent crime is “out of control” in the US is a complete lie.
