If 12,000 were RATS, who do you think they voted for? turnout was significantly higher in heavily-Republican precincts this time, and this is where Brat did very well... while he did well across the board, he did not do as well in urban, moderate, democrat-leaning areas... all in all, he did not need votes from Democrats to win this election...
