What was her first clue? Mine was when he threw his grandmother under the bus to get elected in 2008. Politicians are generally venal but that was the act of a very sick man.

If a miracle should happen and Congress impeaches Obama for the high crimes and misdemeanors he’s clearly committed, he will now be able, thanks to expert psychology testimony, to plead insanity and not be prosecuted.

In fact, he might even be able to serve out his full term, since it would take months to resolve the Constitutional complexities of removing an insane president from office.

As for history’s verdict, all Obama will have to do to in the future to avoid being blamed for causing the decline and fall of America in eight short years, is appear on talk shows admitting that, yes, he probably did have mental health problems while he was in the White House, but no one did anything to help him, so it’s all everybody else’s fault that America is now in a hopeless state of impoverishment and that multitudes of Americans are dying waiting years for medical treatment.

Yow. Tiger, I'd forgotten all about that! You're right. It was coldblooded.

Lest we forget -- the Clintons were as cold-blooded.

Good thread, Rooster.

It really seems to me like this President is demonstrating behavior that is not only anti-American, but irrational and erratic and perhaps not exactly what we might want to deem sane.

They are all nuts. The aged New Left 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats and their ideological issue (Obama and younger members of his Administration) will have no problem using the "nuclear option" -- something beyond their MSM screaming RACISM! 24/7 to protect their hold on power after decades of getting it.

Race riots.

I remember reading back in the 1960s that the inner city riots were fomented by these pukes. Here's something that's closer to today.

In 2000 the MSM were full of the phrase "the will of the people" vis-a-vis the Bush-Gore election controversy.

The Dems tried to spark deadly race riots (to enforce the "will of the people"?) but to his credit Al Gore stopped his Party's efforts.

A quote from one column (November 19, 2002) of Frum's I post often contains this (the quote is by Karenna Gore) and it's about the 2000 post-election day turmoil. It sure seemed to me that the Dems were ready to spark race riots -- which IMO the MSM would have demanded that Bush concede and bow to the "will of the people" (a phrase often included in MSM reports on the turmoil).

"He [Al Gore] said, 'We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness.' And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the … the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically. And that's really who he is."

Frum was on a local talk show. I asked about this. Frum said that he did not remember it but he'd check. I do not know if the host heard back from Frum.

Looks like NR moved (or deleted?) it. here's another source.

Impeachment and conviction would be a miracle, but it would also reflect the majority of the people. Impeachment alone would be good.

We can only hope that Obama will end up as pathetic a figure as Jimmy Carter. That would be a just verdict of history.

We have to have faith in our fellow countrymen, now more than ever. We must move forward on the smart risk, the winning gamble, that the reason the left has to cheat is because they'd lose otherwise -- meaning there are more of us than of them.

Judging by what one can glean from real Americans, as opposed to the image of them projected by pop culture and mainstream media, maybe four in ten Americans are liberal. Six in ten, maybe a little less, but more than half, are disgusted with over-reaching government and continual interference. Most Americans resent over-regulation of business and industry. Most Americans resent the entire presumption behind Obamacare. Most Americans are outraged at Federal government's stronghold on education such that homosexuality is "protected" and embraced, or that a small child can be expelled for having a toy gun in his knapsack.

Most Americans hate this as much was we do. Most of them voted for the opposite or MORE LIKELY, stayed home because both parties are on the government expansion side, and there was zilch to vote for.

Hey, I believe in miracles. We need a 2nd Party.

Clown Prince can do just about anything and be of any mental state...and congress just sits on their collective arses. In a sane world, their would be lots of prison time being meted out. ...and, yes, ALL LIBs are insane (as well as all civilization-deficient moozlums).

It's in the nature of politicians to lie, and when their lies catch up with them it's in their nature to get squirrelly and skitterish.

You can qualify that by saying that it's true of liberal politicians above all or by asking what kind of person gets into a business like that anyway, but the phenomenon is common and bigger than one person's psyche.

Obama is a narcissist that has highly indulged by his staff and by the media. And, for his part Obama is very loyal to his immediate staff who are very close (if not related/married) to high profile members of the mainstream media.

While Obama becomes more detached from reality public support is fading and the democrats are going to get pole axed in November.

Enter the last defense mechanism for both Obama and main stream bias: “white privilege”.

Definitely. The Clintons are more apt to literally murder their enemies, IMO, than throw them under the bus. But 0bama's method may have proved more effective. He doesn't triangulate (negotiate) with Republicans.
