If the unions are happy and Republicans are getting bi-partisan it is time to hold your wallets.

Co-sponsored by the same a&& clown that couldn’t be troubled to read a 2 1/2 page bill to all people to be fired at the VA? You know this is just a pay off to the unions and will eventually screw more vets.

They should just undo what JFK did and not allow any public employees to unionize. That would fix a lot of the country’s woes.

We need to double-down on these proven systems and deliver to our veterans the quality, specialized care they earned through their service to our nation.”

Ahhh, I see what they mean by bi-partisan now. They're going to take something mismanaged and ineffective and double-down on stupid. It's the Karl Rove strategy.

"the severe staffing shortages at VA medical facilities by authorizing $500 million to hire new doctors and nurses"

They can't fill the open positions right now. Doctors and nurses find dealing with layers of non-clinical bureaucrats dedicating their entire careers to make it more complicated to take care of patients so annoying and frustrating that dealing with insurance companies and Obamacare in the private sector is far more appealing. The VA has nearly doubled spending on hospital and medical care since 2000 but apparently too little of that was spent to hire nurses and doctors. Throwing even more money at the problem to hire more doctors and nurses when the VA can't hire enough doctors and nurses right now to fill fully funded positions is going to fix the problem? How????
