Nailed it. When I saw the nearly 300,000 votes for this indicted scum who ALSO dropped out of the race I face palmed. California is an ocean of morons.

Because large, large numbers of Californians are total flaming idiots and they vote in large numbers for names they have heard of before and for no other rational or knowledgeable reason. If a Kardashian ran in some kind of election out here they would garner huge votes because incredible numbers of people have dogturds for brains but they’ve heard the name. We have, out here, not just Low Information voters, we have VIV’s, Vacuum (of) Information voters.

This is why civilization emerged in the temperate zones.

The Asian voter guides were already printed and it was too late to take his name off.

If Obama can give a drug cartel over 2000 untraceable weapons this guy is a lightweight.

Why? They’re Democrats. If their Democratic candidate was a chimpanzee or Brussels sprout, the vote count would be the same! In this case, Yee may do hard time for his numerous offenses, but the Dems would still vote for him if he remained on the ballot in the future.

Mr. Yee is not pro-gun; he authored several anti-gun bills prior to being indicted including one to define ALL semiautomatic rifles (including rimfire like the Ruger 10/22)as “assault weapons” and to require their immediate registration. The only people he wants armed are criminals.

WHY was his name still on the ballot?

Makes no sense to me at all.

I never heard of him being pro-gun & I lived in Calif for over 40 years.

The only stance he has proven to have which is pro-gun is his working so hard to illegally sell & transport guns.

He was making big bucks doing that while he consistently voted anti-gun in the legislature.

That’s what I meant, he is in favor of violating gun laws. He recognized that in California you have to give lip service to liberal causes like gun control, then do everything in your power to bypass those laws.

I knew he wasn’t going to be elected, I just want the liberals to see that an out and out criminal like Yee is better than any of the usual liberal suspects who hide behind legislation to rob the public and make us less safe. Look at it as a protest vote.

He is pro-gun, he wants to make all of us criminals, but he wants us to be armed criminals.

At some point we have to embrace the suck, and recognize that being a law abiding citizen is for saps.
