Yup. Love Coronado ... used to hang out there in high school :-) ... but the last time I was there, the traffic was absolutely horrendous in town -- ditto with just about everywhere else in SD. You're probably much happier in the South. I'd escape there too, if I could.
Coronado has always had my heart. My Dad’s side goes back to the 1800’s when it was Tent City. I so wanted to own my grandparents’ home, but that tiny house last sold for nearly a million and the same goes for the Coronado houses of my aunts and uncles. It’s insane and you’re right about the horrid traffic, not to mention the beach, which was once pristine and never crowded.
