The way GWB catered to Democrats and “our democracy” makes me wonder if he regretted ever taking up nominal “Republican” affiliation. Same with Robert J. Dole

The whole Bush clan is a massive disappointment. If a Bush wins the Republican nomination for President again it will be the first time I will vote for a third party.

IMHO, he understood that people needed to vent and as President, he was the target.

One of my neighbors lost her son fighting in Iraq. He invited her to meet with him in private shortly after her son was killed and met with her twice afterwards.She was very impressed by his graciousness and willingness to hear what she said. She was a veteran, herself, but was still working through her grief during the first visit.
