Gone, gone is the day,
Where the deer and the antelope played,
Where the cattle, and steel plow
With barbed Wire held sway.

Now only is heard,
The thundering Hoard,
Of Reid’s Rustlers, enforcing,
Feudal Lord Reid’s every word.

Home, home on Obamanation!
Which took only Five years for implementation,
Marxist Implementation and trauma,
Thanks to Boehner from Obama,
The Welfare Plantation is finally here to stay!

O.K.

I screwed that one up. It IS the Department of Agriculture, not BLM.

But that hardly makes it less alarming and I’m sure these two agencies can exchange material and ordinance if they desire.

We were warned in 1970 that the Government was pushing for a Federal Police Force.

Now it is here.

Kind of worthless. Submachineguns are marginal close-in weapons that either shoot too fast - and recoil strongly, making fellow-on shots go high, or they shoot too slowly and have marginal effectiveness. SMGs are also useless once you are out of loaded magazines.

Military shotguns are much better weapons for the same tactical envelope as the SMG and far more controllable and in most cases, lighter in weight.

Many years ago, I swapped my M-14 for an M-3A1 Greasegun - and I imagined that I was Steve McQueen. Damn thing was heavy and useless in a fight, so I got my M-14 back.

The government entity ordering these weapons either doesn’t really have a mission for them, or they are ordering them for cosmetic reasons. Either way, a waste of our money.

I do.

The article speaks for itself. Most people wouldn’t know which dept. BLM was in.

Thank you for educating us.

Gosh! Those government employees have to be better armed in order to keep all those tax-paying citizens who pay their paychecks in line. To keep your boot on the citizenery's neck*, you gotta be able to back it up, don'cha know? sarcasm

* Obama's Interior Secretary, Ken Salazar, comment on BP back in 2010. Robert Gibbs said the Administration fully approved of the imagery.

I’m of mixed minds for this. One the one hand, I’d prefer 9mm so they don’t eat up all the .40 on the shelves. On the other hand, there’ll be lots of free ammo lying around within a couple years that I can use.
