WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — The State Department said Monday that Secretary of State John Kerry would not appear before the House Oversight Committee on May 21 to talk about Benghazi — as demanded in a subpoena from the panel’s chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.

Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said Kerry planned to travel to Mexico at that time and officials would discuss alternative options with the committee.

A better tactic is to go from the bottom up first.

And extensive depositions before the hearings. I trust Trey Gowdy.

Kerry wasn’t head of the watch when the State Department and White House let our people be raped, mutilated, burned and mortared

Hillary was- and where exactly was she? Traveling with Huma?

Well, well! Perhaps this dodge will further the erosion to the our Rino granite like congress's belief in Bipartisanship.
As expected as this move is by the lawless gang that couldn't shoot straight, personally I feel transgressed upon. Maybe our spineless congress
Will start to feel belittled, shamed, degraded, and as threatened as the rest of us.
There is one thing that stands more true than all others when it comes to describing leftists. Their ambition always will exceed whatever moral, ethical values they have. It is hard to believe they are humans.

Kerry is being called to explain why the committee received a redacted version of the email that was obtained (not redacted) by Judicial Watch.

Infiltration Of The U.S. Government, Part On

....at the National Press Club on April 22, retired Admiral James “Ace” Lyons stated openly what many have been talking about privately—that the transformation of U.S. policy from opposing to supporting al Qaeda can only be understood in terms of Muslim Brotherhood “penetration into every national security agency of this government,” and “their carte blanche entry into the [Obama] White House

Did the U.S. help arm the Benghazi attackers?

...The 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans might never have happened if the U.S. government hadn’t facilitated a flow of $500 million worth of weapons into the hands of al-Qaeda-linked rebels during Libya’s 2011 revolution, according to interim findings released this week by the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi.

“The deeper you get, the dirtier it gets,” said retired Navy Adm. Chuck Kubic, who appeared with commission members late Tuesday for a press conference at the National Press Club

Given that there are two different versions of the emails-one sent to congress the other to Judicial Watch. I suspect Judicial Watch could petition the court to Depose Kerry to explain that.

That would get his knickers in a knot.

There is no Legislative Branch anymore.

The most powerful tool the Congress has is the purse, and they are too afraid to use it.

It's no wonder the administrative branch runs roughshod over them.

“A better tactic is to go from the bottom up first.”

The benefit of having an ex-prosecutor as Chair is that he knows how to roll witnesses. A whiff of jail time will get the attention of each “Dude”.

A scene in “Band of Brothers” had a very good depiction of this. After liberating a camp, the soldiers dragged the nearby townspeople at gunpoint to bury the dead. It seemed harsh to have all these elderly folks digging (all the young men were dead or still in the Wermacht somewhere), but people needed to be shaken from their complacency.

This is why I feel that anyone in the US thinks that the alphabet channels are news need to be slapped into reality, pronto.

Zactly. As in that movie where the Nazi Wife is seen in the pit picking up bodies of Jews, that is the MSM.

You could put NBC,CBS, ABC, CNN, NPR all in a room and show them the drone video from Benghazi or weapons being smuggled to Syria or Egypt, unedited emails showing the conspiracy and they would still look in disbelief.
