Kiev, Ukraine (CNN) -- A perilous face-off intensified Saturday when Russia state news complained that Ukraine had mobilized 15,000 troops in the suburbs of Slavyansk in eastern Ukraine "in order to wipe out the city and its residents."
Quoting a Russian Defense Ministry source, RIA Novosti said satellite photos showed the force forming around the city that has become a friction point between the Ukraine military and pro-Russian militants.
The Defense Ministry source said the number of Ukraine troops put the pro-Russian militants at a disadvantage because the latter are "armed only with small amount of pistols and shotguns." Many eastern Ukraine residents have Russian roots and sympathize with Moscow.

The Federal Government’s actions in Ukraine are outrageous. America has no interests in Ukraine and no reason to interfere in their political process.

As a matter of fact, he is. What he wants is East-West convergence under Soviet terms, the same "terms" that KGB defectors have been warning us about for decades, who also predicted that a failure to deconstruct the soviet structures in Russia would lead to a future just like today.

I think this focuses too hard on Putin himself, as he is merely the visible head of a larger monster. If you got rid of him, it would change nothing, as the deeper problem is the hidden soviet structures that have yet to be dismantled and are growing.
A Russian think-thank recently noted that Russia has been preparing for a world war for many years now, and they fingered Ukraine as integral for Russia's modernization and war preparations. Russia has intellectuals who openly promote invading France and renaming it Gaul, and also discuss different ways in which they may cause the United States to collapse, so that they may establish a new empire. China, also, is preparing its military for confrontation, and the designated targets are always American ones, our ships, our forces, our country.
Meanwhile, Russia is still funding and aiding communist movements across the world, and many of our current leaders have known connections to Communist front-groups established by the KGB during the cold war.

Sounds like so many videos I see of American law enforcement these days. They beat the hell out of someone for no reason and then beat them some more if the person doesn't submit to the beating. And then the person gets accused of 'resisting arrest' which anymore just means 'Contempt of Cop'.

The difference, of course, is that your world view is laregly built up from lies spread from the Kremlin, an entity you insist on defending. Whereas I do not defend Obama, though I do not buy into every stupid antiAmerican conspiracy theory, as the Kremlin nutjobs of FR do.
