24 Sussex medical call won't be investigated by RCMP

The RCMP have confirmed that Ottawa EMS was called to the Prime Minister’s residence at 24 Sussex Drive last Saturday night as media reports said an 18-year-old girl needed to be taken to hospital for severe intoxication.

RCMP would not confirm who the call was for, only that it was not Stephen Harper or one of his family members.

“This was a medical call and not a police matter. It did not involve any of our protectees,” said a statement from the RCMP.

The PMO said it would not be commenting on the matter.

Interesting Only last an underage intoxicated boy was removed from the White House.

Intoxicated girl. It all depends on your choice of preference. If you're high on life, find your daily experience in the here and ambrosia-like in its ability to intoxicate you, who is to be troubled by it? Maybe the kid was a political science major and the Prime Minister was just too overwhelming.

Harper has two children a boy that is 17 or so and a girl that is 14 or so. A drunk girl acquaintance of the boy perhaps? Pure speculation. Boy, you been in the liqour cabinet?!

Did she just “wander in” or was she a guest?

Inquiring minds want to know.

If it is the son’s paramour, I’d advise him to stayaway from this one in the future.

Isn’t legal age in Canada either 18 or 19?

Most likely a few teenage friends invited by Harper’s kids, and some of them drinking more than they should. Hardly a news story—if it wasn’t for the fact that the Canadian press is desperate to throw slime Harper’s way, and they’re having an extremely hard time doing it.

I apologize in advance for advocating an extreme position; but, This man is a politician. Politicians are so foul, low and degenerate that whenever something happens in their homes or within 450 yards of their person they are presumed guilty of the worst acts. They have the burden of proving their innocence of the charges of providing illegal substances and sexually abusing (Sodomy) any young person male or female or transgender in their homes or within the stated distance. The mere fact that they are politicians controls. It is irrelevant whether they are liberal or conservative.

Are you talking about politicians or priests?

See!

19 in most provinces, 18 in (AFAIK) Quebec and PEI, unless it’s changed. The PM’s residence is in Ottawa, I believe, so the legal drinking age would be 19 (Ontario). Underage drinking (within reason) is generally not considered to be a huge deal here, although an drunken underage girl at the PM’s residence is going to raise some eyebrows, regardless of who the current occupant is.

Provincial responsibility. When I left ON in 1992, drinking age was 19. QU was 18 and AB is 18. Not sure about the rest.

19 in Ontario, 18 in Quebec—24 Sussex is about a quarter-mile too far south for it to be legal, but maybe she got sloshed in Quebec and then wandered across the bridge.
