Racial inequality is not a Constitutional issue, Ms. Sotomayor, so it is none of your business, at least as a SCOUTS Justice.

Impeach activist Justice who ignore the Constitution.

Sotomayor: “We’re doing away with racial inequality by having racial inequality! Why doesn’t this make sense to you! You racist!”

At least none of our judges on the SC are politically biased. They are all non-partisan students of our Constitution.

Sotomayor's insane reaction is typical of leftists who think it's merely luck and circumstance that some people succeed and others fail. If people who resemble them don't achieve as much people who don't look like her, then there must be something wrong with the system.

This is maybe the chief problem of leftists...they simply can't understand that most people succeed or fail on their own merits. Nothing stops minorities from studying hard... except themselves and the conditions people like themselves create. The simple reason the numbers of minorities in major colleges are not proportional to their numbers in the general population is that they're not as smart. It's difficult or impossible for leftists to understand that, but that's the truth. When underqualified minorities are placed in positions of higher learning they haven't earned, they drop out far more than other students.

an impassioned dissent that accused colleagues of trying to “wish away” racial inequality

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

Those who can, do. Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't do or teach, consult. Those who can't do, teach or consult, become socialist democRats and take power and your money and give it to the people who vote for them.

Her opinion was predictable. Climbing aboard the Wayback Machine to 2009, we encounter this story from Bloomberg:

A divided U.S. Supreme Court, reversing a decision by Sonia Sotomayor and two other judges, said a Connecticut city violated white firefighters’ rights by canceling planned promotions because no blacks qualified.

The justices, voting 5-4, said New Haven improperly used race as a basis for throwing out the results of a pair of tests administered to candidates for lieutenant and captain positions.

The reverse-discrimination case has become a focal point in the debate over Sotomayor’s nomination to the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama. An appeals court panel that included Sotomayor rejected the white firefighters’ lawsuit, saying the city acted legitimately to avoid discrimination against blacks.

In other words, discriminate against whites all you please. Ain't no big thing.

She’s a complete idiot. She got her job just because she is female and has a “hispanic” surname.

a working link

“To disagree with the dissent’s views on the costs and benefits of racial preferences is not to ‘wish away, rather than confront’ racial inequality,” Roberts wrote.

“People can disagree in good faith on this issue, but it similarly does more harm than good to question the openness and candor of those on either side of the debate.”
