People holding illegal arms and occupying government buildings are perfectly OK, as long as they are permitted to do so, believes Washington’s top diplomat in Europe. But doing exactly the same thing without permission is bad.

Well Obama did recently claim that the Kosovo split from Serbia was due to a referendum vote.

“5 billion dollars (borrowed from China)”

VP Biden took it in some steamer trunks. Slow Joe and his delegation, consisting of Eric Holder, Lois Lerner and other Democrats of impeccable character, all lectured the Ukes on the importance of honesty, fairness and square dealing before turning over the cash to local gangsters.

The coup that occurred eliminated (with the possibility of assassination present) a democratically elected President of Ukraine.

Afraid of losing again, (the same folks of the 2004 revolution) initiated the coup....rather than let the election occur in a few months.

The people will be forced to vote for these coup folks...that's how it works with a coup.

The points are valid. The US likes democracy and the rule of law when they serve its geopolitical interests. It just does not of approve of Crimea and eastern Ukrainians exercising them because it would have to admit the Maidan regime in Kiev is illegitimate. Good luck with that happening. America and the West are running the show in Kiev. In all likelihood, Ukraine’s May 25 presidential elections will ultimately lack legitimacy but the US and its allies will recognize the farce because they have too much invested in the Maidan regime to concede defeat.
