Disgraced former President Victor Yanukovych called for urgent action to resolve the ongoing separatist violence in eastern Ukraine in a statement from Rostov-on-Don on April 21.
Yanukovych requested the immediate removal of all Ukrainian Armed Forces from the east of Ukraine, sent there as a detachment of the so-called national guard, dressed in military uniforms and armed with automatic weapons and grenades.
Yanukovych, who fled Ukraine on February 22 after being accused of ordering riot police to fire on activists demanding his removal from power, called for the immediate commencement of peaceful dialogue with the leaders of the eastern regions.

Ping.
He still is the president of Ukraine.
He was legally impeached, and he fled his constitutionally-required parliamentary trial.
He is a fugitive from justice.
Quit carrying water for Putin and his kleptocrat puppet Yanukovych.
If the guy had been legally impeached, the Nazis and Soros puppets wouldn’t have needed to do any sort of a false-flag op and kill 130 of their own people, would they?
When you return to this planet, read up on current events.
Agreed. So many here have swallowed the outright lies spewing forth from the imperial left wing msm.
Wasn’t Nixon still president when he traded Ford the presidency for a pardon?
Let me guess: your inability to produce any evidence of a conspiracy is just proof that the conspiracy is covering up the evidence.
I’ll say it again, I can’t believe that so many people on conservative forums who are immune to libtard, greentard, MSM, NWO, Soros propaganda and BS are so eager to swallow it hook, line, and sinker the first minute the subject changes to Russia or Vladimir Putin. To believe anything other than that Putin is the hero in this picture you have to believe that Soros, Bork Obunga, Victoria Nuland et. al. are good people and that is totally preposterous.
No one traded anything.
Unbelievable.
Obama has done next to nothing for Ukraine. Both Putin and Obama are evil.
Russia needs to get the hell out of Ukraine and leave those people alone.
That megalomaniacal old fool George Soros wishes he was as influential as you conspiracy obsessives think he is.
You're basically arguing that it is conservative to slavishly moon over a KGB toad, and liberal to support a free people fighting for self-determination.
No sale.
Yanukovyh fled the country to Russia.
Before he fled he signed off on new elections in May.
He's done.
Same idiots believe Maduro is "freely elected" and are rooting for Cuba in Venezuela.
You clearly do not grasp what is going on there.
Ukraine has no where to go other than Russia. All Ukrainians other than extreme retards speak Russian now; nobody other than historians will speak Ukrainian in fifteen years. You might have noticed that all of the interviews you've been watching from the Ukraine are in Russian...
The offer which Russia had made to the Ukrain was workable, which is why Yanukovich took it; the offer the EU made leaves anybody stupid enough to have taken it holding the bag. George Soros makes an art form out of leaving other people holding the bag.
EU and Soros leave Ukraine holding the bag
"As early as February 27th, it was clear that the EU was dragging its feet as to the sums that would have to be contributed in order to stabilize the Ukrainian economy. On February 28, the German minister of foreign affairs declared that the EU could commit itself to the tune of 1 billion euros. However, in view of the present collapse of the Ukrainian economy, its between 20 and 25 billion euros a year which will have to be provided, over 4 to 5 years at least. On March 3rd, the United States Congress committed itself to contribute one billion dollars. There are indeed promises, spreading between 20 and 35 billion, but concretely nothing is coming, nor will anything be coming before some time Manuel Barroso committed himself in the name of the EU for 11 billion euros, but without giving a precise date. The EBRD too has committed itself to lend 5 billion euros, but between 2014 and 2020. The IMF could commit itself to the amount of 14-18 billion dollars, according to a statement of March 27th. One can see that the promised sums remain well short of those needed, covering at best a year and a half, that is, up to the end of 2015. But, what will happen afterwards? Moreover, up to now, the sums really committed are no more than 2 billion. Russian journalists are putting all this to good use [3]. Not only are the leaders in Kiev discovering that there is many a slip twixt the cup and the lip, and twixt promises and realities, but they also notice that this aid would relieve the Ukrainian economy only temporarily. The only solution for Ukraine consists in a rapid resumption of economic relations with Russia."
For what it’s worth, here’s the street-level view from someone who LIVES there.

On the main page, there’s a day-by-day reportage of what’s going on, last updated April 19th. http://www.elenafilatova.com/index.html
She explains it pretty well, from the perspective of living under Yanukovych and his admin.
But for us to argue about it here, when we have our OWN little tinpot dictator staring us in the face... maybe a truce is in order, folks.
