According to USA Today, the U.S. federal government has approved a new brand of powdered alcohol, "Palcohol." The alcohol comes in a powdered form that can be stirred into beverages or sprinkled over food.
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) approved seven new versions of Palcohol, including Margarita, Lemon Drop, Mojito, and Cosmopolitan flavors. Palcohol, which already exists in countries like Germany and Japan, will reportedly hit shelves this fall.
According to the company's website, each pouch of powder is equivalent to one shot of alcohol. The powder is mixed in with five ounces of water, or with five ounces of one's favorite mixer, such as cranberry juice or soda. Palcohol was invented by Mark Phillips, who said he wanted to create an easy way to relax and enjoy an adult beverage.

Certainly make trips to Disney World more entertaining.

It would certainly make things exciting for the snorters.
Horrible! I had forgotten they existed.
My alcoholic mind immediately went to, “I wonder if it is more effective if you snort it?”
I wonder what the chemistry is. Do they remove the hydrogen atoms from the alcohol, leaving the carbon, and add a catalyst that allows the carbon to combine with the hydrogen in water to once again become alcohol? If so, snorting could leave the snorter with a dose of pure 180 proof alcohol up his nose, a real burner, not “bummer,” and an experience not to be repeated.
You gotta figure out how to freebase it first.
Gotta love a challenge. People are drinking Purel for gosh sake. They’ll snort powdered alcohol in a heartbeat. Maybe their last heartbeat.
Almost as astounding as the Steven Wright invention, Powdered Water
Yes, but what do you add?
CC
Not to mention the fact that it will be getting those H’s from the water in your nasal passages, which could get interesting from a viewer standpoint
With a bunch of pure, wild little Os running around there might not be much left of the snorter’s nasal passages after one snort. I modify my earlier comment: it would be both a burner and a bummer.
