Civilian Militia Remains at Bundy Ranch After Standoff Ends

A group of armed militia and protesters, some sporting nametags reading "domestic terrorist," remain camped out on a cattle ranch in Nevada, where they have been purportedly defending the property since a tense showdown ended with the federal government last week.

A 20-year struggle between rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management over decades of alleged illegal cattle grazing on public land ended last Sunday, with the government backing down from a controversial week-long cattle round-up.

Maybe I'm just slow, but I see other "issues" starting to appear with regards to this "event". Gun control? "Armed militias"? Prior service members? How long before the blm land in that area is declared a gun free zone? Mental evaluations of the prior service folks. The "authorit-I's" probably know who every single one of these folks are by now and you can probably bet that some insidious plan is underway to try to make their lives miserable somehow. Who's gonna pay for the livestock lost? Things could get a lot uglier before this is over.

Yes, that includes the BLM. Anything worth keeping can be moved back to the State. That is where the “BLM” land belongs any way.

Cliven Bundy’s land is private... they (govt.) has no right to tell people on his land to disarm.

Boy, I went through a couple of pages and can see how effective the dumbing down has been. “He broke the law so it’s his fault if the government shoots him” seems to be a common thread.

Not much on the BLM’s tactical abuse.
