It’s the job of government to terrorize the population into compliance as far as they see it.

As long as no one resists the govt its all powerful. When 500 militia with the eye of the tiger surround 250 jumped up forest rangers in GI Joe gear its a different story. They looked a lot tougher when they were throwing women in the dirt and sicking dogs on pregnant women.
Do not let Glenn Beck or these other misguided peaceniks convince you that the American public cannot defend itself from an overreaching government.

Per some blogger comments, some of the militarized BLM were glad that so many regular citizens showed up, because it caused ‘those in charge’ to back down.
At least one of those bloggers was streaming live video to the world, as events unfolded.
FoxNews reportedly had a truck there. A local CBS station had a news truck there. The major networks were busy covering more important things, like a small oil slick in the Indian Ocean.
And that's what Lois Lerner said - pick someone to be an example and the rest will fall into line. What they did to the Bundys reminds me of what the woman who will probably be in charge of our healthcare did to those WWII vets who wanted to visit the memorials. They also had police prevent people from looking at Mt Rushmore, and had the park service prevent people from drinking from water fountains in Yellowstone. The whole thing is mind boggling! And the woman's reward is to be head of the healthcare for ALL of us - well, except the friends and family of Congress, etc.
This is not a free country anymore. I'm still thinking of Panama.
