Don’t kid yourself. The radicals at PETA think that domesticated cattle shouldn’t exist. They also don’t have much of a problem with the destruction of dogs & cats when you get right down to it.

Not quite accurate.
Union Army (Federal) artifacts are definitely not worthless and good condition rare items will ring thousands of dollars similar to some Confederate items.
Price of CW material depends largely on rarity. Confederate items tend to be rarer than Federal items (but not always). There are many fairly common Confederate buttons and bullets that do not sell for big money and for far less than some Federal pieces.

I am repeating this for the simple reason that it bears repeating.
I agree with you on Glenn Beck’s libertarian support-enabling of gay marriage. It is 100% non-traditional and is way out there. It is childish libertarianism that goes against 5000 years of Judeo-Christian religions, civilization and culture
If the Washington government continues this path taken since Ruby Ridge, it will one day be civilians in those ditches.
Per some blogger comments, some of the militarized BLM were glad that so many regular citizens showed up, because it caused ‘those in charge’ to back down.

There has to be division within their ranks. If the true discord comes in the US (and I think it trembles on the brink) we will fracture like Spain, its institutions and its population in their civil war.
