Harry Reid Doubles Down on Bundy Ranch: 'If They're Patriots, We're in Big Trouble'
Breitbart ^ | 18 Apr 2014 | Kerry Picket

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Friday stood by his statement regarding embattled Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, saying on KSNV’s What’s Your Point?, “If anyone thinks by any figment of their imagination that what happened up there last week was just people rallying to somebody that was oppressed, 600 people came in armed. They had practiced. They had maneuvered.”

Reid continued, “They knew what they were doing. They set up snipers in strategic locations with sniper rifles. They had assault weapons. They had automatic weapons. And they boasted about the fact that they put women and children, in fact one retired sheriff from Arizona posted he put women and children, so that they would get hit first.”

The 0bamunists continue to ignore laws duly passed by the Congress and signed by the President with impunity. The IRS is politicized and weaponized to punish opponents of this venal regime, as are all the other alphabet agencies.

Meanwhile, rogue government agencies impose capricious regulations and fees that are subject to change without notice on what they must consider to be their subjects, somewhat like the fabled vindictive, venal Sheriff of Nottingham.

The Federal apparatchik response to a farmer who believes an agency is imposing unfair fees is to send heavily armed tactical squads to terrorize his family, plunder his assets, and destroy his personal property, all the while spending much more on collecting the disputed “debt” than the amount they want to collect.

This, my FRiends, is TYRANNY!

These people are patriots, all right, Senator Harry Reid (D-Beijing).

Just not patriots of the country you represent.

At the moment, Nevada is represented by only one Senator.

Yes, Harry ...you are in big trouble. Yes, they are Patriots.

While Bundy may indeed owe grazing fee’s, it was the BLM that showed up ready to use violence, federal violence against a US Citizen. At what point is it OK for the federal government to resort to violence against a citizen in order to collect taxes/fee’s, instead of using all the legal channels available to it?

Harry, really, the government needed to collect this debt so badly it needed to attempt to do so at the point of a gun? Really?

In a just world, Harry would have far more to worry about than reelection numbers.

Patriots have always meant “real trouble, “for powermongers and petty tyrants like Harry Reid. So in that sense he is right.

The fact is, Harry Reid is using government to pad his and his son’s coffer. And he does not care who he walks on, or what rights he violates to do so.

Harry Reid and his family and their “corporations,” are so deep into shady land deals in Clark County and elsewhere in Nevada that it is ridiculous...and, IMHO< completely and totally corrupt and criminal.

If people look, they will find that holdings that he and his corporations have obtained...many times at zero cost...are now growing in size from year to year, while the BLM controlled land around them shrinks. And there is no record on how or why this is happening. Just that the Reid holdings continue to grow.

But with Reid’s man in control at the BLM, and an administration like the Obama Administration that specializes in kick-backs and the draining of the public trust and coffers for their political supporters, it is not at all surprising this is happening.

Now, a Rancher like Bundy stood in his way and he thought he could walk over him too...but he was wrong and so now he is lashing out at that rancher and anyone who supports him. And he is right to be concerned for his petty “empire,” it is people like that...patriots like that...who will bring it down.

“Stay tuned for Nov 4.”

How can we tell how much they are manipulating the votes? The machines can contain a bug which turns every 3rd vote into a rat vote and at 7pm, poll closing time, the bug can erase itself. Not to mention a computer printout at the end of the evening showing every name that didn’t vote that suddenly does vote (and guess which party they vote for?).
We were really bamboozled into this electronic voting and it is going to be the end of this country.

As I quickly scanned this post I thought Harry Reid was referring to the Patriot’s Day events when hundreds of heavily armed Americans gathered to stand against an entrenched tyranny. Each had a privately owned “assault weapon of the day”, and had drilled and practiced.
These “Domestic Terrorists”, in the end, had to fire “The Shot heard round the world.”
I think there is a famous statue commemorating the event.
Is the man still holding that “assault rifle”?

For the record........ how was the militia regulated?
The phrase "well regulated" in colonial times:

The following are taken from the Oxford English Dictionary, and bracket in time the writing of the 2nd amendment:

1709: "If a liberal Education has formed in us well-regulated Appetites and worthy Inclinations."
1714: "The practice of all well-regulated courts of justice in the world."
1812: "The equation of time ... is the adjustment of the difference of time as shown by a well-regulated clock and a true sun dial."
1848: "A remissness for which I am sure every well-regulated person will blame the Mayor."
1862: "It appeared to her well-regulated mind, like a clandestine proceeding."
1894: "The newspaper, a never wanting adjunct to every well-regulated American embryo city."

The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.

Well regulated originally meant well trained. Use an old dictionary to find the Founders intent.

WHAT IS A PATRIOT?

PATRIOTS are not “Revolutionaries” trying to overthrow the government of the United States.

PATRIOTS are “Counter-Revolutionaries” trying to prevent the government of the United States,
from overthrowing the Constitution of the United States. - Unknown Author

A quick background as to why the BLM should not be harassing Cliven Bundy. This issue goes all the way back to the Confederation Papers, prior to the writing of our US Constitution.

Please remember that the Supreme Court has reversed more than 150 of earlier Supreme Court decisions on natural law. Is that what you would consider as someone being consistent and reliable in interpreting the Constitution?

The Resolution of 1780, "the federal trust respecting public lands obligated the united States to extinguish both their governmental jurisdiction and their title to land that achieved statehood."

In the Constitutional Convention of 1787, The Charter of Liberty contained these words, "The new Federal Government is an agent serving the states.", "The delegated powers are few and defined", "All powers not listed are retained by the states or the people", "The Resolution of 1780 formed the basis upon which Congress was required to dispose of territorial and public lands", "All laws shall be made by the Congress of the United States". (not agency bureaucrats!)

That should be sufficient for you to determine who all public lands belong to, hint - NOT the Federal Government!

"The Constitution is a written instrument. As such, it's meaning does not alter. That which it meant when adopted. it means now". So said the Supreme Court in South Carolina v United States in 1905

Articles of Confederation, Article VI, clause 1 All engagements entered into before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation. In Article IX "... no State shall be deprived of territory for the benefit of the United States."

Formation of a "more perfect union" does not absolve that union of prior engagements, including those obligations establish by the resolution of 1780 and the Articles of Confederation.

Our government system is established by compact, not between the Government and the State Governments but between the States as Sovereign Communities. By James Madison 1821 (This is what make the County Sheriffs the highest law enforcement officer in that County and gives him/her the authority to tell the BLM, the FBI or any other Federal Agency to get out of the County or they will be arrested and jailed.)

What I have written here is but a short piece of the process that the Founder went through to establish our Constitution and system of government.

Please view these videos and see if they don't change your mind about whether or not Cliven Bundy is in the wrong by defying the BLM.

1of3 Stephen Pratt speaking to Sheriffs at WSSA conference

2of3 Stephen Pratt speaking to Sheriffs at WSSA conference

3of3 Stephen Pratt speaking to Sheriffs at WSSA conference

Here's one that shows why the Sheriff of Clark County is duty bound to keep the BLM and all Federal agents from arresting Cliven Bundy.
