FEDS SEIZE FAMILY’S RANCH-Property owners fight government ‘land grab’!!!
Tea Party Tribune ^ | April 17, 2014 | TPT Admin

When Kit Laney answered a knock on his door Saturday, law enforcement officers from the U.S. Forest Service handed him a piece of paper announcing his Diamond Bar Ranch in southwest New Mexico would be shut down Wednesday and his 300 head of cattle grazing there would be removed – one way or the other.

Other Forest Service officials were busy nailing similar notices on fence posts along the highway and informing neighbors that after Feb. 11, they should not attempt to enter the Diamond Bar property.

Laney was not surprised. He knew someday there would be an on-the-ground confrontation to enforce a 1997 court ruling which says his cattle are trespassing on federal land. That day has arrived.

The federal government may be out of control, but it isn’t rounding up people for extermination, going door to door to confiscate weapons, or committing large scale violence against us.

Are you sure that is not the plan? Why else would they be SO! desperate to disarm US? Whey would all these Federal Agencies now have SWAT Teams? A blind man can see the threat these vermin pose. Yes, they will get to that. Unless we stop them.

Some States will refuse. Texas and several neighbors are among them.

The time of the ballot box is over. Too many people still cling to the quaint belief that everything will be restored to sunshine and candy skies, if we just get "our people" selected in the next cycle. When election fraud and voter intimidation on a national scale goes unchallenged, the defrauded party is only two things: either unable to fight, or unwilling.

The time of the mail box and the soap box is also over. Do you people honestly seriously think that letters to your selected officials get read? Or that email rants are read? As Heinlein observed, "What right does a drowning man have in the middle of the sea? The ocean will not hearken to his cries." FReeps and protests make for good copy and great pics, but it's all kabuki theater to placate you. Your voice will not be heard through the doors of power.

The time of the jury box has had its last hurrah. The Zimmerman Trial was an aberration, a fluke. What redress do you think the black-robed priests will offer you? One intimidated judge declared that Odinga found a loophole in the Constitution and helped tip this nation over the precipice.

That leaves only one box left.

Get yours, while there's still time. You are up against a political ideology, foreign to these shores and alien to the good of Mankind, who have demonstrated they have more backbone and resolve than you do. As Chuckie Schumer said, "We're united, you're not."

They are willing to weaponize a segment of the population against you, and the merest threat of that weapon has already changed the course of two elections.

This conflict within our borders can only be resolved "by other means".

it was never ‘given’. Under the Homestead Act of 1862 the land was sold for up to $1.25 an acre, with a quarter-section minimum, with the condition it be lived on for five years and ‘improved’ after which time title could be applied for. If the person paid full price of $1.25 an acre, they could apply after six months. Union soldiers were given preferential treatment. Confederate soldiers need not apply, but family members “who had never borne arms against the US Government” could apply.

By reducing grazing allotments to that below what qualifies to keep water rights, the BLM is, in effect, stealing title to those water rights. Like placer mining claims, water rights can be bought, sold, leased, transferred and willed to relatives or Frisco the Cat. Here are three examples on how water rights are viewed in the West:

Water rights are classified as “real property” in the state of Utah and are bought and sold much like real estate. Many real estate agencies will have listings for water rights much as they do for properties.

http://www.waterrights.utah.gov/wrinfo/faq.asp

The use of a water right is considered a property right and can be bought and sold like any other property. Water rights are exchanged, bought, and sold between private parties. The State Engineer does not assign title or ownership of water rights; he only confirms the Report of Conveyance (ROC).

http://dcnr.nv.gov/documents/documents/nevada-water-law-101/

A significant aspect of selling and buying ranch property in Colorado requires a detailed evaluation of water rights. By nature, a water right consists only of the right to use. In Colorado, a water right is considered real property, and therefore, is subject to the Statutes of Frauds and real property statutes of limitations; it passes as “real property” under a will,

I know. That’s why I posted the question. I find that sometimes asking a question is better than telling.

The threads are full of links to Pratt’s video presentations, so I didn’t want to be repetitive.

Already been there and done that with respect to Pratt’s videos, but thanks.

Nevada has grazing easements that are partially based on cow trails and historic use. These laws prohibit fencing that would impede the cattle’s movement - even if you own some land, if someone else owns the grazing easement, you can’t put up a fence without his approval.

Anyhow, this way of defining grazing rights is actually tied to water as well, since the trails lead from grazing to water.

* The EPA assigns one million acres to previous owners in Wyoming.

* The BLM Rustles cattle in Nevada.

* Now the USFS Rustles Cattle in New Mexico.

What will Speaker Boehner do now to punish these lawless Federal Bureaus?

BTW, have y’all noticed that Obama is very effectively using these lawless events by his Bureaus to distract from the NSA, Benghazi, IRS and Obamacare Scandals?

I understand that this limitation/prohibition against Fed ownership of land goes all the way back to the late 1700s and are written into the Articles’ of Confederation which set the stage for the USA Constitution. Of course for people of the ilk of Reid and Obama and their enablers the Constitution only has meaning/effect since about the 1917s when ‘new world order’ politics of Wilson and now Reid, Obama, and Muslims like Jarette control the meaning of the Constitution.

Not trying to cause a fight, just for your information.

Clear Case Guy did a great explanation of it - Before States had been established, there was a lot of territory that needed to be spoken for. It also needed to have an entity that could keep a State from annexing land from Ohio to the California coast.

He explains far better than my short paraphrase.

States could assist in that tax revolt and benefit themselves in the process, by halting direct payment of taxes to the Federal Government by residents earning money within their individual borders. It strikes me as really dumb to allow money earned within a state using State infrastructure and state business climate, to escape directly to the fed without first going through the State Dept of Revenue where what is necessary for operating the state is not first removed before any money is sent to DEE CEE.

This would require states to halt businesses withholding tax moneies and folks would then pay their federal tax liability on at least a quartely but more like monthly basis to the State Dept of Revenue. A sure way to enlighten the masses on just what is being stolen from their pockets on a daily basis. Think of the jobs program in just the State Department of Revenue on compliance. Think of states no longer subsidizing other states.

...and best of all, the unending Revenue Stream to DEE CEE would be halted, except for the ten to twenty percent of what the states collect that could be sent to DEE CEE. End of Federal Blackmail, end of carrot and stick, end of spending like the drunken sailor, end of tyranny of the purse.

Well he’s not, but that’s not the point. The govt has been squeezing ranchers in a catch-22, while at the same time not holding up their end of the contract. The Mafia themselves couldn’t have done it better.

The problem is the media and friends only talk about the lack of payment, not the breach of contract that resulted in the lack of payment, no different than if your mechanic charges you for work he hasn’t done. The problem is the govt sends an army to make you pay.

“We’re confiscating property now. That’s socialism. It’s written into the Communist Manifesto. Maybe we ought to see that every person who gets a tax return receives a copy of the Communist Manifesto with it so he can see what’s happening to him.” - T.
