White House blames fox for destroying Michelle’s garden
The Daily Caller ^ | 4-18-14 | Vince Coglianese

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal.

The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties.

The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching.

President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.

The bushy-tailed visitor first made his appearance at the White House just before the October government shutdown, the Journal’s Carol Lee reports.

As Michelle Obama’s garden sat unattended during the shutdown, the fox “tore” through it.

Of course, that can’t stand.

The White House groundskeepers have avoided using any Second Amendment remedies to eliminate the threat to Michelle’s carrots, but they’ve reportedly laid out an array of metal traps to catch the fox — no luck so far.

I’m thinking if one fox could be this disruptive, how much fun could it be to dump a hundred or so rabbits over the fence?

So, they’ve put out traps, but no luck. They’re probably baiting them with a Moochelle School Lunch Special: tofu cakes and wheat grass smoothies.

What did you have peacocks for?

They were prized during the Roman Empire, costing about $10 (in 1903 dollars, when the empire food spending limit for feasts, including weddings was about $50), and a favorite dish of Henry VIII.

Mr. Obama, this is only a super-naturally inspired omen. It may well portend ominous things about your future. It haunts you at every corner. Try as you might, you can’t get that little fox out of your world or your mind. You must look for that fox every time you decide to do something. Before you know it, it will be in the bedroom with you before you go to sleep at night. . . you know, just after you finished your bedtime reefer and snort. I’ll bet the little booger is wearing a surveillance camera. Nothing to worry about . . . full speed ahead.

I still have $1.50 left over after paying my taxes so obviously she isn’t broke but Bless her Heart, she has just been soooooooo busy tending to what other people have in their garden don’t you know. The pressures of being the FLOTUS are so terribly demanding that we peons surely can’t expect her to keep up with everything.
