Only 490 light years away. So, if we send out a machine right now, and it averages 100,000 mph, it will get there when?

It doesn’t matter, no matter how close it is, some
woman will have to go to the bathroom before you
get there, and when you stop she will want you to
get directions even though you already know the way
there. Oh, and the kids will all be hollaring,
“How much farther IS it??”.

Warp 2 ... only a little over 22 years away
Warp 3 ... only a little over 4 years away
as we increase speed Warp 4, etc. we can actually arrive before we left.

Only 490 light years away. So, if we send out a machine right now, and it averages 100,000 mph, it will get there when?OK, let's see: light travels at 186,000 miles per second, times 60 seconds in a minute, times 60 minutes in an hour, times 24, times 365, times 490...
Sorry, above my pay grade!
