The rich are not the problem, the greedy are not the problem, the crooked are not the problem - the problem is the system that brings them about. If the system is ours, the system means by the people, of the people, for the people, then now it is time to take it back.

He instead demands that the Fed as the nation's central bank be treated as a "fourth branch of government." Instead of being owned and controlled by Wall Street and Federal appointees, the regional Feds would become owned and controlled by citizens in each of the 12 Fed regions. This would stop the Fed from creating money to enrich Wall Street speculators and further widen the flagrantly inequitable wealth and income gaps between the top 1% and the bottom 99% of citizens.
I’d rather see it go away.
The problem is that the citizen’s own government, that is, the Treasury Dept, has turned over ITS ability to create money to a different entity.
That is why the government borrows.
But since government can create its own money, it really does not need to borrow.
The “hold” that elite finance has on our politicians is there because government goes to bankers to borrow dollars.
This guy took one too many hits to the head. We ‘own’ Congress via voting, doesn’t stop us from voting ourselves more goodies. Owning the Fed has as much real influence as the idiots thinking Divestiture made any difference in the anti-Apartheid movement. Just an empty gesture, just like this.
End fractional reserve banking. There, problem solved. You’re welcome.

The same commies who want a national sales tax, for their constituencies to have more control over who’s elected to the Senate, etc. They all get their incomes directly or indirectly from government, folks—both parties full of ‘em.
