Slain Richmond boy was father of suspect's child

A 30-year-old woman shot and killed a teenage boy in Richmond after the two - who had a child together - argued over the victim's girlfriend, a prosecutor said Wednesday.

Melinda Gaffney surrendered Monday to San Francisco police in connection with the April 8 slaying of Terrance Forks, 16, outside the Crescent Park apartment complex.

Gaffney shot the boy during the latest in a series of arguments over Terrance's girlfriend, said Contra Costa County prosecutor Mary Knox.

Gaffney fled in a Lexus that was later recovered, police said.

A woman scorned . . . By the father of her child that had to have conceived with her at the age of . . . 15. . . Wonder how old his new girlfriend was ?

It doesn't say how old he was when he had sex with her. It could have been when he was 13 or 14, at that awkward age for guys when the girls his age only have eyes for older guys.

Then he got older and taller, and was probably able to find a girl his own age, and she got jealous because he might have been the only guy willing to look at her naked.

Spot on. We won’t survive without some massive changes to the “entitlement” system that is nothing more than forced redistribution of wealth to create and maintain a permanent underclass that constantly votes only one way.
