Bill Bennett said it best: "After a while yu won't get off the couch."

I had a student that was a very gifted guitar player. Over 4 years I saw his decline and it was jsut tragic.

Imagine the whole country with the free rein of dope.

How ~easy to control~, we’d all be.

I’m sure nobody’s plotting to guarantee that eventuality.

[yeah, right]

Somebody’s gotta stay sober, vigilant and on guard.

Guess it’ll be us.

my son was listed as very gifted...but once he got in the wrong crowd, and started using the stuff, his grades deteriorated and so did his self esteem and he ended up shacking up with a girl whose parents PROVIDED weed to them....

thank God, thank God, thank God he was able to get out of that situation....but he did get way behind in college and money matters and it still affects him to this day...

now of course, he's a great father of two with a wonderful educated wife and nearing the end of his masters at the UW...
