No kidding...I went by a school and the parents are trying to get these teen girls all involved in succer...Half were running around aimlessly and the other half were standing around talking on their cell phones.

Bet they found it so exciting, they had to call and tell their friends about it...yukyuk

“the ignorance” the ignorance, murmered Col. Kurtz ... And as he breathed his last breath, he recited the following:

There was a young man from Koblentz.
His balls were really immense.
..One day,playing soccer,
..He sprang his left knocker
Then kicked it right over a fence.

And then he died.

I watched some videos from English First Division games in the 1970s, it was a rough game then. Things that would have gotten red cards today went on regularly without so much as a foul being called.

Once the testosterone starts to flow, no male is interested in soccer.

Go watch an 18 year old club game in your area between good teams and get back to me.

To each their own, I suppose.

I’m just tired of watching sports involving players that are mostly thugs...not that soccer doesn’t have its’ share of characters, but certainly not at the level of football and basketball players here.

Globalist Corp ESPN will cover the hell out it to try to get America to like this boring sport.

I’m drinking Cazadores Reposado right now. Isn’t that multicultural enough?

Yet, ESPN enjoyed fairly good ratings for the World Cup in 2010. I’d watch, especially at the knockout stages.

When football is banned and consigned to the ash-can of history due to too many concussions and hangnails, Americans STILL won't watch soccer.

“It will happen someday...No, not this year, but if it did, everyone who dissed soccer, will be glued to the TV set just like the rest of us.”

Yes, because we will have become either a third world sh!thole or a euroweeny socialist state like so much of the rest of the world.

No, the world’s top sporting event is the Olympic Games.

I wouldn't even consider it if I could watch it fast forwarded at 8x.

It's a slow, mindless game that involves nothing but cardio endurance, and no straight male who has access to real sports would give it a second look.

NBC Sports is getting good ratings for their Premier League coverage. It’s amazing going around town how many Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich jerseys you see people wearing.

The World Cup this year may get more US television viewers as Brazil time is closer to US time. Watching live and not in the middle of the night will be a bonus.

The rise of soccer in this country closely tracks the rise of the gaystapo. Lots of people have come out of a closet in both instances.

People who worship a game where every play starts with one guy’s hands touching another man’s butt, saying that soccer is gay, that’s rich.
