I just saw that sceane last week - my daughter (16!) and a friend were spending an overnight and two days watching a bounch of old vcr’s on the portable tv with the built-in vcr. I made them pause it and was ranting how “This is EXACTLY what is going on down on Bundy’s ranch, and blah, blah. blah.”
“Um, Dad. Whose ranch?”
Yes. And it works just the same when we send our Constitutionally minded representatives to our state capitols and to D.C.
They are threatened continually, because the elites cannot risk the possibility that someone might actually listen to that one voice, realize that there is wisdom in it, and join with it.
Troubling times these.
Dear Lord, strengthen us, as we stand in Your name.
