CINCINNATI A federal judge on Monday ordered Ohio to recognize the marriages of same-sex couples performed in other states, and civil rights attorneys and gay marriage supporters immediately began looking ahead to their next fight: a lawsuit seeking to force Ohio to allow gay couples to marry.
Judge Timothy Blacks ruling was a partial but significant victory for gay rights supporters, who called it a stepping stone for full marriage equality in Ohio....

How about make me, judge.
Ohio to judge: Do something anatomically impossible (for liberals, that is).
doesn’t anyone ever tell these nitwit federal judges to go to hell???.....what if the “state” said no, and refused to do so???
The Supreme Court of the United States has declared that a man masturbating inside another man’s $4!7hole is a marital act, so the debate has been settled.
Why does this judge recognize what God does not!! God !!
not QUITE there yet, but inching that way (because barring it would be “mere animus”).
and so the US gets very very weird.
personally... I think the US is too weak in its current state to stop this. it needs to get right with the Lord in a lot of other ways before it has power to shrug this plague off. some folks disagree, and maybe the homo lobby will make such a pest of itself that it will engender a crude counter reaction. but to call that getting closer to the Lord would be a delusion.
Sometimes it takes evil pressing at one’s doorstep before one gives up fleshly efforts and goes to one’s KNEES.
And that’s just how the good Lord has designed things.
Faith has gotten very shallow.
then recognize out of state carry permits.
Our black robe masters at it again. We are treated as less than serfs.
Dunno, but I do not recognize this judge or anything he has to say.
Think I’ll go to New York State with my concealed-carry permit, and “force” a judge that NYS must recognize my WI concealed-carry.
Ohio has the option of telling the judge to pound sand. The federal government has no authority with the borders of the states.
Not to worry...Kasich will fold like a deck chair.
I have a feeling that when these cases make it to the USSC, our judicial betters will uphold Section 2 of DOMA partially, but will require all other states to recognize counterfeit “marriages” from the 16 or so Sodoms. A horrific prospect, to be sure, and Kennedy will be the irrational lynchpin, as usual.
This is exactly what I’d do.
A person only has as much power over you as you give that person.
Speaking for myself, I will never recognize homosexual marriage. It serves no purpose, it offends me, and it offends the God that I believe in, so no.
I do not care if some person in a robe who went to some school and got some degree then got appointed to some job tells me I have too...I ain’t f***in’ doin’ it.
Apologies for my language, I’m getting tried of this nonsense ;/
They don’t care about you. The opinion that matters is your children’s. That is where this battle is.
Well I don’t have any children, and I’m not going to.
I’m just not going there. I do not have the temperament to raise children in this society where I will no don’t watch them be turned into drones of the state.
I will lose my mind and do some stupid sh!t if that happens, so no.
This place just doesn’t seem like a good place anymore.
When I leave this rock, I’m gone, that’s all.
Well so much for the fake states-rights position of Rand Paul on marriage.
