Warning follows threat from Harry Reid that grazing dispute 'not over'
The chief of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association says his sources inside the federal government are warning that Washington’s weekend retreat in a dispute over grazing land in Nevada was just to distract and defuse – because a raid on the family’s ranch still is being strategized.
And there probably would be violence involved, said Richard Mack, the former sheriff of Grisham County, Ariz.
“I don’t think it would be possible” to launch a raid without violence, he told WND Monday. “I don’t the Bundys would lie down and be taken.”
He cited the threat from Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., that the confrontation was far from over, despite the weekend’s retreat by armed gunmen working for federal agencies.
Reid on Monday told KRNV-TV in Reno. “It’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”

Yep. Did anybody actually believe the feds were going to admit defeat? Per my post from Saturday:
“They’ll pull out and wait for everybody to go home then come back in the middle of the night with MRAPs, body armor and snipers to finish what they started under cover of darkness and without any witnesses. After that, they can make up any story they wish and blame it on the victims.”
I agree with you. A man should not have to sign his life away simply to survive. 101ORD is just trying to get you to spout off. Likely it's a fedgov troll, and it's trying to get you to post something questionable in order to sic some JBT slopeheads on you later using that as a justification.

Harry gets his Nevada support from the urban dwellers, casinos, unions and johns at the cat house. These little people mean nothing to him, IMO.

The original deal with the BLM was that the NUMEROUS ranchers were to pay the BLM fees for managing the range.
This worked well at first, but then the BLM started using the fees to drive the many ranchers out of business, and stopped using the fees to manage the range.
Are you saying you'd hire a kid to mow your lawn and still keep paying him after you caught him REFUSING to mow the lawn, but was instead spray-painting graffiti on your house with paint cans purchased with YOUR money?
Well this may well be the opening volley if something should to Mr Bundy and his family...I for one think people should start gumming up the works when it comes to the Federal Gov, passive resistance...see a Federal vehicle out just let the air out of its tires, fail to submit or intentionally screw up Federal documents, etc...be creative.
Leave it. Bundy’s a mistake. Don’t wrap him up in a good cause. He’s been allowed to flaunt the law and not pay just fees for two decades. He’s a scofflaw, not a revolutionary.
Find those other 50 or so families driven off their land. Let them catalogue the injustices, put that in a YouTube video, do interviews with bloggers and the news media and then you’ll have a cause.
The danger is that Bundy isn’t clean like Rosa Park’s was. We have to be at least as smart as the Civil Rights Movement was. This kind of lost cause rallying is what keeps us losing our rights.
Read an article the other day that stated the feds have spent over 3 million dollars on this operation to date.
3 million to collect 1 million in grazing fees and penalties. Only Uncle Sugar.

You’re mixing up the two causes. Is BLM, EPA and government in general abusive? Yes.
That doesn’t make Bundy right. He’s founded his argument on an unconstitutional basis that is based on a lie. As conservatives we must be absolutely for the truth.
Bundy’s argument as to why he doesn’t have to pay is founded on falsehood.
Bundy is no mistake, he and his family has sweated and bled for that land...your argument is specious..
That’s correct, but it’s not Bundy’s original argument for not paying the fees.
Find those other ranchers and bring them to the fore. We have to make this about government abuse and mismanagement not about Cliven Bundy. Bundy’s not a hero, but a kook who, like a stopped clock, is right twice.
Get those other 50 families and you have a cause. Right now it’s a tar baby and the feds will win.
