A majority of people in the United States perceive President Obama as being "mixed race,” a new poll suggests.
In a study of America's evolving demographics, the Pew Research Center found 52 percent of people view Obama as being "mixed race." Less than a third view him as "black."
More than half of white people view Obama as "mixed race," but more than half of black people view the president as "black."

The huge majority of "blacks" are mixed race. There are very few that are 100% black, and most of them would be recent immigrants.

I love when papers do polls about facts, and then report the polls as if they have meaning. What they SHOULD do is look at the polls and realize they are failing at their job of educating the masses.
Obama IS mixed race. If blacks say he is not, that is because the media has failed to report the facts. It would be like doing a poll about whether the sky is blue.

Good question -why is this even a question?
As an empirical demonstration as to where true “privilege” exists in our society,
what percentage of “mixed race” individual identify as “white” vs those that identify as “black”?
I’ve known plenty of mixed race people but only 1 that considered himself white.
Good hard working young guy who worked loads of overtime with me and put all his money into his drag strip car.

Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.
It’s something Hillary doesn’t understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.
Thus Obama has become the white liberals’ Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.
Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior.
He is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.”
