That’s a Yoshino Cherry (Prunus x yeodensis), and they usually are only 40’x35’. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that tall, unless it’s reaching up for the sunlight, and is bare-branched down below.

I think the Bundy Ranch was meant to be the “Environmental offset zone” FOR the solar plant not the actual Solar Plant location...

You're going to need one for fall leaves, unless you use netting to cover the pond.

Liberals get the ticket and real men get armed bureaucrats at their door. Harry Reid is such a snake. I can’t stand him.

They have some bird here in NM that the EPA is trying to make an endangered species to reduce or destroy the oil and gas output in our state and other states for that matter.

Harry Reid is a puke, and there is always a link to him, but the Chinese pulled out. Chinese said solar is not market ready--the plant is far away from Bundy and is now American company approved by Obama admin. There's no china connection!

Tom,
Capital punishment in the U.S. state of Kansas is a legal form of punishment for the crime of capital murder. Kansas is one of two death penalty states, along with New Hampshire, that haven’t performed any execution since 1976.

If the corrupt, criminal EPA’s involved, it doesn’t surprise me.

So the Bundy ranch isn’t part of this?

Not what I’ve seen. There was a test site for solar in Gold Butte area, but many miles west of Bundy Ranch. I think they like kicking him around for everything to put pressure on him, but that was the Laughlin/Chinese Solar thing. That deal is kaput.

1983 was a long time ago, dang. My formidable years were in the 80’s and it was a good time. I can’t imagine spending those years under zero.

I think they were linking the past ties to the Chicoms, not that it was still viable or at least on this page they claim the Laughlin project was shelved.

Flashback: Sen. Reid Breaks Ground for Nevada Solar Farm Near Bundy Ranch

"The senator’s plan for solar farms in Nevada wasn’t just limited to the shelved project near Laughlin"

You might want to read this other article and find out the BLM had scrubbed a couple of points including how the presence of cattle would impact the solar development for the area. The good thing, people here at FR saved what was scrubbed and gets good mention in the article.

Breaking: Sen. Harry Reid Behind BLM Land Grab of Bundy Ranch

I'm with Tom Marr on this, you can't trust Reid and his cronies on any of this.
