Chelsea Clinton has left the door open to one day to running for office herself.

"I live in a city and a state where I support my elected representatives," Clinton said in an interview with the business magazine Fast Company. "If at some point that weren’t the case, and I didn’t support my mayor or my city councilwoman or my congresswoman or either of my senators — and I’m lucky to live in a state where I have lots of women representing me, you know — maybe then I’d have to ask and answer the question for myself, and come to a different answer."

Hopefully she will be as successful at that as she was as a journalist.

Honestly, she could probably get herself a House seat in some Ultra-liberal district, who's voters would elect her her just because of the Clinton name. But I don't see her achieving any higher office. In this case the apple fell far from the tree, she has neither Bill's oily charm and ability to give folksy speeches or even Hillary's ruthless ambition. Listening to her speak is about as enthralling as watching paint dry, she has zero Charisma and the public speaking ability of a first year high-school debate team member. I've always gotten the impression when I heard her speak that she didn't even really want to be there and “Mommy and Daddy” were making her, when she would much rather be sitting on a private beach somewhere spending millions in Clinton Foundation Money...
