We raised a steer last season for meat. All told, he ended up being $3.33 a pound, which is high for burger, but CHEAP for steak. We’re raising another one this season and two pigs, too boot! BACON is up to $8 a pound around here.

Oddly, the left has always responded to environmental concerns by promoting socialist dictatorship as a “solution.”

Nothing odd about that. The crises change from time to time, but the "solution" stays the same. Should tell you what it's really about.

I do note, however, that the panel recommends more nuclear power. That actually *is* a common-sense suggestion....

And is therefore not gonna happen. If it decreases dependence on government, it conflicts with the real goal (and the purpose for which IPCC is funded).
