I hate to throw conspiracy theories here without any evidence. But I will for the heck of it because something smells here. I don’t think they are going to all this trouble over solar panels and turtles. The story is convoluted enough that only diehards like us will understand it or care about it. The mushy people in political middle will believe whatever CNN tells them.

Thus ... I think they are trying to trigger violence not just with this family. They want to trigger militia or right-wing reaction and get something like the Oklahoma City bombing effect here. OK City bombing turned the tide for Clinton and changed the storyline. Dems must prevail in 2014 and do something / anything to change the attention off ObamaCare.

Dems want to trigger something they can call “right-wing terrorism” and stir up their base as well as influence the middle about how extreme and dangerous the right wing is. There is no other explanation I can fathom for this level of overreaction by the feds.

If the right doesn’t react violently in some fashion the feds still win with environmental weenies. So it is a win or possibly a two-fer for the feds. The possible downside for dems is the other side of the coin — this WILL stir up the conservative base. I am not sure how much they worry about that. We are already stirred up after 5 years of Obama and yet they still keep winning.

And that will continue to happen until we can get an ID law that would guarantee one vote per one legal citizen. Until then, it's nothing but an out of control free for all. That's why the left fights so hard to make sure the votes are not validated in any way. If they were, the left would never win another election.

I think that's about right. The feds have been seeking a violent reaction from the non-Leftists for quite awhile and I think they are frustrated that Americans are basically accepting the tyranny. Sure, the encroachments allow government to expand in small ways -- and, hey, that's really great -- but the government wants to put down a rebellion and impose martial law. And they can't do that until we fight back.

They are just trying to find a way to piss us off enough to make us take action.
