I couldn’t believe how they were forcing people out of there homes to search, yelling at them and pointing weapons. Unbelievable that the people let them get by with it. They were looking for one man! Then it finally took an ordinary guy going out for a smoke to find him.

When I read about this earlier today, it crossed my mind that the Fedzilla might shut down mobile communications, exc... I was thinking that they (ranchers an supporters) should have some plain old school video cameras out there, film type cameras, and Ham radio.

They need some kind of alternative ways to communicate. Someone even posted Morse(sp?) code as a suggestion.

I wouldn't put it past the government at all, to try and shut Cell towers down, in order to do a raid.

Then again, if we had any Freakin actual Journalists in this country , who understood what their Constitutional role is- TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FROM TYRANNY BY ACTING AS A "CHECK" AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT-BY INFORMING THE CITIZENS OF ANY AND ALL ABUSES, MISDEEDS, AND VIOLATIONS OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS BY THE GOVERNMENT- None of this would have to happen.

The "Journalists" would be out there with Satellite trucks, protecting the people by telling the truth, not helping the JBT's terrorize the people by not reporting on it.

Sadly we have "Useful Idiot's" (To any liberal lurkers: look up this term.), not journalists.

Look at how the park rangers treated citizens during the gov’t shutdown. They “were just doing what they were told”. My guess, since I have worked with gov’t unions, is that they look at all taxpayers as the enemy if they are told to do whatever it takes or they might lose some of their already outrageous benefits.

I don’t think Mark has a good grasp yet on all that is happening there. But once he does, I hope he keeps it out front.

"Some still brand but modern ranchers use ear tags"

Good Point. Doesn't the FDA or somebody require that each animal is uniquely ID'd in case of trouble so it can be traced back through the system?

I heard his interview with Mr. Bundy and he kept saying it was NV State land, but I was interpreting that as he thought it was in principle. A lot of FReepers have been arguing that it is Federal land and Mr. Bundy is wrong. I don’t agree with that even if it was federal land.

Has this been posted?

"Look at how the park rangers treated citizens during the gov’t shutdown."

That is the strongest evidence for the States to make the Feds transfer the People's Lands to the States.

Mr. Bundy has weak Legal Arguments for the current Legal System.

Sorry I don’t know. I was a summertime dilettante ranchhand many moons ago. Gramps would know but he passed on in ‘79. He raised polled Herefords. What you say sounds right though.

Every domestic animal I’ve seen (from afar) lately has yellow ear tags.

Levin likely got it right about those turtles were being killed off by the Feds.

Armed Rangers were brought in from out of state by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to assist in security surrounding the Bundy Ranch, according to the family.

Stetsy Bundy Cox, Cliven’s daughter, told the Washington Free Beacon that some of the rangers had Oregon and California license plates.

“You know, some of these guys don’t even know why they’re here,” she said. “A few people have talked to them and they got called in here on an emergency feed and they didn’t know what it was for, it just said they had to be here.”

I actually went and talked to one, he was in the back, nobody was even talking to him. He didn’t say much,” she said. “He had a huge big gun on him, but he didn’t really even touch his gun.”

“I asked him, ‘What are you doing? Do you know what you’re doing? You’re stealing an old man’s cattle, his livelihood. He’s a poor man that doesn’t have anything,’” she said. “And I said, ‘You’re pushing baby cows’—I watched a baby cow not want to move and a helicopter swoop down and honk at him till he had to move.”

Cox said the Ranger said, “No, no, we don’t want that.”

“But I saw it,” she said.

“‘Well, well,’ and he goes, ‘I don’t even want to be here. Do you think my grandfather’s proud of me? You think I like this? You think this is fun for me?’”

“Then what are you doing here?” Cox asked him.

“He said, ‘It’s my job.’”

Remember Tianamen Square? All the troops firing on civilians and running over them with tanks and APCs were from remote provinces.

For the most part they couldn't even understand the local dialect.

obaMAO was taking notes, I bet...

And later in the trials he can say "I was just following orders."

It worked so well in Nuremberg...
