My last time I was back ( in 14’) and I drove through W-Spfld in what was a former blue collar area that had a great Italian Restaurant etc and It was very different. Halal Meat Shops etc. Across the River in Springfield their was a big influx of Somali Immigrants a while back FWIW....

Western Massachusetts is a conservative haven for most communities there. The 2012 race for state senate seat in the area resulted in the Republican Humasan beating the Democrat Bartley 3,361 to 491. But the progressives from the local universities are organizing against the residents with the usual left wing-islamic fascism.

Rugged individualist conservatives need to understand they have to organize. If they don't, they will be left with despotism and then civil war.
