This is a ‘get out the Democrat vote’ effort. The Dems and their sycophant Media pretend that the Pubbies get lots more money from the ‘rich’. They are constantly agitating ‘to rein in big money’ because they know NO ONE will do anything about their own big money. Remember all the money Obama brought in in 2008? He didn't have to report most of it because he said most of the donations were under $200 so not reportable. Rriigghht....

Some idiots proclaim it’s time for a new Constitutional Convention. TODAY’S politicians will line up to approve.
Pick up a copy of the United States Constitution, the foundation of this, the greatest country in history. Easy isn’t it? A single page of (I think) parchment, written by a careful hand.
What would a NEW constitution be? A copy of the “NEW” constitution, about 23,500 pages long would, when bound, be the “Finals in the Olympic Heavyweight Lifting competition.’
The forests west of the Rockies would be denuded to make the paper required for copies to the citizenry. I don’t think I am overstating the end result.

Sounds to me like they’re trying to ‘water down’ or confuse the REAL issues the States brought up regarding the CC.
