Driving away, a smoke bomb into the vehicles has them fleeing them as attack dogs are released onto them.

That would be deserving. IMO.

Whether the rancher paid his fees or not is no longer the issue. FWIW I wish a wealthy individual would step up and pay it for him. Just to settle things down.

Food for the K-9s that would make them calm, tired, and sleepy would help too. Sugar in gas tanks. No mechanics in town would be able to find time to work on their engines or sell them gas. Grocery stores seem to close as they approach. Hotels have no vacancies. Local deputies regularly stop their vehicles under suspicion of carrying drugs - and all cash and firearms are impounded. LOL.

So many asymmetric tactics... so little time.

Does anybody see a pattern here?

Endless debt and infinite money enables endless and infinite government. For a variety of reasons we must remove from government the power to create money out of thin air by which it:

1) puts us all in debt serfdom to pay the interest;

2) diminishes the purchasing power of the money we have saved;

3) buys votes with constituency groups that become dependent upon “benefits” that become a form of “in-kind income” that competes against paying jobs at the lower skill levels;

4) is able to finance going to war even when citizens don’t support it;

5) expands bureaucracies, the things they regulate and the number of armed people they employ to find and arrest people who violate regulations they didn’t even know existed, or even violating foreign laws. Recall that Gibson Guitar was raided for importing wood that lacked the proper label. Excess bureaucracy sent Abbie Schoenwetter to federal prison for shipping lobster in plastic instead of cardboard. Excess bureaucracy defines the drainage ditch in your back yard as a federally protected “navigable waterway” that you are forbidden to “disturb”.

A government that can create its own money does not have to ask taxpayers for permission to spend more to feed its self-serving bureaucratic activities. When states start calling for a Convention to consider amendments to the Constitution, the first topic must be to restrain federal spending. A government that must live within its means is a government that must focus on the important things rather than imposing evermore intrusive laws and regulations having the weight of law.

Every day more people are coming to the judgment that a carefully organized effort to repair the constitution via the States’ power to propose and ratify amendments has less risk to our liberty and prosperity than the present trajectory of the federal government and especially the federal bureaucracy.

It should go without saying that a federal government that had to live within its means is not a federal government than can afford to militarize a “land management” agency with which to tyrannize citizens.

Bundy’s feud with the feds has been going on for years and apparently the federal courts have ruled against him. However, is this land actually under federal or state jurisdiction? Bundy claims he has paid the county for grazing rights, but why would the county accept the money if the land were federal? Despite the possible legal weakness of Bundy’s claim, why are the feds arming up for a confrontation? Couldn’t a local sheriff see to the seizure of the cattle? Will Bundy be given compensation for his cattle if they are removed from the land and either sold or destroyed? This is the same federal overreaction that lead to the tragedies at Waco and Ruby Ridge. The feds show more sensitivity to terrorists than to our own citizens.

With all the armed militia that are supposedly out there I think Waco and Ruby Ridge are out of the question at this point. I notice its all being kept kind of quiet and no numbers batted around. Also have only seen one out at the protest area in the videos.

I hope it does not come to shooting but it would be interesting to see a bunch of Dept of Agriculture goons (not even law enforcement) have to face down experienced shootists many of them likely ex military who are not afraid of mixing it up.

It appears that FOX and CNN are officially at the site now so the govt is really under the spotlight. Maybe Sandoval will get a spine and step in and take control of the situation.

Notice Lil Bam has been historically quiet on this one. Where is the beer summit. :-)

There’s a story on a web site that can’t be posted or linked to here that this is part of a land deal involving Dingy Harry and the Chinese to build a hugh solar power generation installation and a solar power manufacturing facility on this land.

Three million dollars is small compensation for the loss of a wife and child.

And the murderer Lon Horiuchi never faced justice for his crimes.

I wonder how many of these jackbooted thugs are former military?

Where does one find the REAL story behind this action? Who is right and what is the truth?

The Feds don’t want the fees paid, they want the man/family GONE.
They’ve got other plans for that land.
