Remember the two women in the dark blue pickup that was shot up by cops becuase they thought it was the BLACK vehicle driven by that cop killer? It’s by the grace of God that neither of them were killed.

Then again, perhaps no one in the Department want to admit the THREE officers mistook the victim for someone’s dog.

Apparently Albuquerque is not far behind. They flash banged, shot, bean-bagged, and sent in a dog on a guy with a knife. This guy was 20 yards away over rocky terrain. The officers were in absolutely zero danger (except maybe of getting cactus thorns) yet decided deadly force was required. The guy died from his wounds. During the entire video (captured from a helmet cam on one of the thugs) there is not one mention of getting medical attention for the guy. They wanted him dead. He's dead.

All the officers in both of these cases need to be in prison for 20 to life. Every dime they have and a hefty chunk of their department's yearly budget should go to the victim's families. Only way this excrement will stop - start pulling badges and putting them behind bars, start hitting the departments in the pocketbook. When they have to cut officers, training, and gear purchases (not a bad thing) 'cause their liability insurance rates went through the roof, maybe they'll start making some changes. Maybe even get back to "protect and serve" instead of "menace and subjugate."

Remember, they shot up two separate trucks driven by innocent civilians while looking for that ex cop. Didn’t try to stop them, just opened fire at cars driving down the street.

After the first incident, you would think orders would have went out to be more careful and that officers would have wanted to avoid making this mistake again.

This kind of stuff would not have happened with local police back in the 90’s.

This is mostly a result of the collective loss of cool that America had after 9- 11. The terrorists got lucky that day. We freaked out and massively over reacted. We started seeing creepy, un-American gov’t/police worship. All these fat middle aged losers all over American wearing “NYPD” hats and stuff like that. TV shows glorifying police torture and violations of constitutional rights. Too many conservatives embraced that mindset, getting off on vicarious tough guy posturing, and this is where has lead.

That color is what Toyota calls "Speedway Blue", one of their most standout colors. I used to call it "Bubblegum Blue" and most either loved it or hated it, but it's definitely NOT black, just like the two women in it, IIRC.

You're right. God and His angels were the only ones protecting and serving that day. The cops seemed to be hired guns for the other team.

Apparently Chief Charlie and Sheriff Lee send their officers to the same shooting school...'Shoot first, ask questions later'.

LA County Sheriff Lee Baca

When we lived in Seattle, my wife worked for Alaska Airlines. Being empty nesters, we had a lot of freedom. We would take day trips sometimes by taking an early flight to Burbank on Saturday morning, rent a convertible, tour around the area, maybe hit Disneyland or City Walk and Sunset Blvd, and then fly home that evening.

After a while, LA just looked like a “cleaner” Tijuana. Too much concrete, asphalt, graffiti...and Spanish. Add the politics of the state and we decided it was time to boycott the state about Six years ago. We will never go back there. It has nothing for us and lots that we hate.

As I recall, in the second case, the vehicle was stopped, inspected and cleared. The vehicle and occupants were shot up after they’d been waved through.
