I had to contact 5 doctors before one accepted me as a new Medicare patient. I can imagine how much worse the situation is with medicaid and Obamacare.

Insurance thru Obamacare is kind of like that. You pay for healthcare insurance, but they don’t give you healthcare.

Ninety six repair shops wouldn't fix my car for what my insurance company was willing to pay. What injustice. They should be forced to fix it.

I remain grateful for the Affordable Care Act and understand that we, the people, must continue to fight to make sure that the access it promises to provide can become tangible for all. Though the government, under President Obama, has made tremendous strides in equalizing the divide between the healthcare ‘haves’ and ‘have nots,’ we still have so far to go.

So far to go? Not really. All we have to do is pass laws requiring doctors to treat all comers and forbidding them from leaving their occupation.

One friend reports having ten doctors tell him they won’t take any Obama patients. They suggested such people go to county hospital emergency since they’d always been available to them at no personal cost anyway.
