graft

That's what it is at the highest level (and lowest) forms of government.

(By the way, I am of sound mind and body. Just sayin)

That won't matter my FRiend if the powers that be (i.e. ME, family, insurance co,, state, etc...), says "no." Have a living will. From a "DNR" to no intubation. Make sure your wishes are in writing, signed by you, and witnessed by disinterested people.

This stuff sucks, I know...

Or maybe I miss understood your post.

It’s ALL caused by them DAMN COWS! Kill the cows, baby!

You do realize that cow farts cause global warming. It could be that the Bundy cows are responsible for the warm summers they have in Nevada. Those cows must be eliminated at all costs. Before you know it Nevada could start looking like..... Nevada.

Looks like our insistence on calling out the oddity of what the BLM is doing to Bundy has outed Sen Harry Reid. Thanks, DaxtonBrown & Ray76. .

“It’s right because it’s legal” doesn’t seem to be getting much traction.

I knew Harry Reid’s fingerprints were all over this. Nobody takes a dump on Federal Land in Nevada without Harry Reid being on the take.

This had nothing to do with the cows. It has everything to do with cronyism and kick backs.

They will still blackball me. Local MSM Steve Sebelius and Jon Ralston have been the worse. But now I have Free Republic and 25,000 Twitter followers. Not so easy to shove me under the rug now.
Most importantly, not so easy to whack me now either without a stink. This is all mob stuff.

I did. I wrote about it before.

Dana Loesch does not provide a single source for any of her statements. I am skeptical of statements made by bloggers when they don’t list sources.

In this cases, one night on TV, Dana Loesch says “he’s claiming he has title to an easement in this land, and the devil’s in the details, maybe he does.” The next morning, she writes in her blog “Bundy OWNS the water and forage rights to this land.” She doesn’t say what caused her to go from “maybe” to “OWNS” overnight.

She says “Bundy has in fact paid fees to Clark County, Nevada in an arrangement pre-dating the BLM.”

Did she mention Bundy paid grazing fees to the BLM?

Did she mention that on March 3, 1994, Bundy sent a check for $1,961.47 to Clark County for grazing fees.? The BLM calculated that this amount is equal to the amount Bundy would pay to graze 85 cattle on the Bunkerton allotment for a 12-month period if the fees were paid to the BLM in advance. Clark County returned the check to Bundy since it did not have jurisdiction over the allotment. The proffered payment was for 85 cattle, not Bundy’s 1,100.

I don’t rely on unsourced blogs as definitive information. You are welcome to do so.

I’m glad you’d seen it.

I think Cliven Bundy and family are hashing and rehashing over and over continuously what they know, and why they think what they think about all this . They’re looking for the right way to explain what they think. I think they remember different facets of the past as they ponder and as they’re asked questions and as other’s prod them with thoughts and information.

What they know and believe....little doubt of that...is that they have a right to be there the same as the rocks, cactus, and turtles. It’s been their home for generations.

One thing that strikes me is that they’re Mormons, and as such, they probably date back to that original Utah group that continued to spread. Joseph Smith and crew just staked out Salt Lake and claimed it and other settlements. I’m not Mormon, but I don’t recall them paying anybody for it. Do you?

I think he might have hit on the right response when he said last night on Hannity that he simply disputes the right of the Fed Government to own 80% of Nevada.

I think he might have hit on the right response when he said last night on Hannity that he simply disputes the right of the Fed Government to own 80% of Nevada.

When you think about it, the Federal Government has not exactly been a good steward about the land it "owns" in Nevada. They poisoned hundreds of thousands of acres of Nevada with above ground nuclear tests and almost all of the land they "own" is undeveloped land that provides no benefit to the American economy. If the land were in private hands or at the disposal of the State, then Nevada would likely prosper like the deserts of Israel.

Again you are correct. There is no provision in the Constitution that allows the Federal Government to "own" real property within state boundaries. We are supposed to be a FEDERAL Government consisting of 50 SOVEREIGN states with the rights not specifically granted to the Federal Government to be retained by the States. This would include the rights of ownership over the real property rights within the borders of that State subject only to the regulatory powers in the COMMERCE CLAUSE.

Wake Up Nevada. Bundy is fighting for YOU!

That's a critical thing that so many Americans don't even realize. We are a union of 50 SOVEREIGN states.

We are Sovereign Nations United and not Counties Joined Together.

Now does the tortoise have something to do with the US governments unwillingness to continue to lease out the grazing rights ... likely.

My understanding is that the grazing lease was sold to a conservation group who then retired it from grazing and that they sued the BLM to have the cattle removed from their leased allotment. Bundy screwed himself when he refused to sign the 1993 lease. Now maybe he was inspired by the Hage case that was going on at the time, but the Hages always paid their fees. The Hages won in court, Bundy lost.

I just go with the actual words in the post. I just old school.
