Gerald Connolly of Virginia (D): Now trying to cite Madison as being on the other side of the argument. Trying to cite case law that says profession of innocence does not waive 5th Amendment right. Especially when people are unpopular, Constitution has to be followed. Calling it a Star Chamber.
They are voting now. They are not going to recess for the vote.
